I've been pushing off posting in this topic since I dread it, but hey guess I will. I've read some posts, but in all here is my view.

If the world WILL end in 2012 we all know it's because Santa Clause will snap, ally himself with my comic character Lord Pain, creat an army of evil flying robot Santas and demonic plushies destorying the world with present bombs and gnawing our eyebrows off (Those who survive the present-bombing).

People thought the world was going to end in 2000, 2002. Now 2012, all because of some Calander that wasn't completed by then. I find it beyond any level of stupid (Just like my paragraph above). However if it does end, oh well looks like I was wrong.

now and not then, like theres really anything we can do to stop the end?

If the end were to come at that time, I doubt we'd be able to do anything. It'd be inevitable if it were to happen. Just like death. Still, I find the basis on it rather stupid.

I don't belive that mess. What logical reason is there that the world will end in 2012? Comit? A-bombs? Come one now. The only reason that is even a suggested date for the World's End is that the Aztec calendar ended in 2012. We are far more advanced now more than ever, so how could an old rock calendar effect what we think?

Since I was a kid the world has been on the verge of "ending", but I am still alive and so is the rest of the world, so we should forget about 2012, Planet X, and Gamma radiation, and just worry about living our lives day-by-day, and look to our own futures because for me personally, I believe that the world ends when I am dead. I don't mean that the whole world ends when I die but my own personal world ends when I die and I leave those theroies about the end of the world to those that want to believe it and let it affect them.

Come now, stating the inevitable is not crazy. I agree with this, we will eventually die off, and since we're on a road of self destruction I would not be suprised if we do it ourselves. I mean if humanity is dead then I guess in a sense the "World has ended" for humanity at least.
