I believe that Bush has done a bad job as president, however I do agree with some Lestat's points. Clinton did cut military funding and Bush consequently raised the funding, however he did it in too quick of a hurry. Though you may be fighting for the country, don't you think that you are entitled to the best quality equipment, remember the humvee incident, that was a military spending error on the governments part. Also, I think Bush greatly underestamated this war and what it would do to the country, I thought he was thinking like his father, a get-up and go strategy, get in and get out. This did not happen, I believe we invaded under false pretenses no matter where they came from and when we invaded, our social system started to collaspe as baby boomers and medicare and social security needed to be addressed. Bush I believe did not have the foresight to see what needed to be done, he focused too much on foreign policy while letting his domestic policy deteriorate until he finally was forced to address the domestic issues. So I believe that he underestamated and miscalculated what he could and could not do. He became power hungry and decided that he would be able to wield all power and use it to its fullest extent, illegal wire-tapping which btw, may still be used for domestic calls.

Now onto oil, though this has been a problem, this was not Bush's fault, our reserves are already drying up, so no matter who was president nor at any time could this oil crisis happen, the problem is that Bush doesn't have a good strategy to deal with the issue. The oil market has been steadly become more volatile without his interaction, therefore you cannot blame Bush for high oil prices, also in terms of Hurricane Katrina, the levees were already terrible to begin with that started with the administration who built the levees. Blame should be spread all over the chain of command as nobody listened to the engineers and scientists who have been saying for over 5 years that the levees were too weak.

Bush is freakin idiot! He falls off his bicycle and chokes on a pretzel. I'm not saying that means you're an idiot, but when he does it, he's just dumb. Have you seen his facial expressions sometimes? gosh, I watch his debates sometimes just to laugh at him! There's a picture that one of my teachers has of him reading with a kid and his book is upside down. Geez...this guy is running our country? Oh sorry, "running" our country. More like ruining. That little sissy pants needs to go...(I hope no one took offense to the sissy pants comment.)

well i don't really know much about the stuff bush has done besides all the mistakes he has done, which is shown in the media.

but my impression of bush is that he is incompenant, war hungry, oil grabbing pres. but thats what i get from the media so yeah.
but i really don't follow american pollitics, all i know is what i get told, which i'm a bit iffy if its the truth or not.
