Agreed....That was the whole point!! We're not Nazis or the KKK, just concerned with the state of our country, that's all!!

As a good american should be! You know democracy isn't working when the people are silent. When they're NOT protesting. This war is questionable. It's just another example of America trying to play the hero, and it's not benefitting us. Hell, it's not even benefitting the world.

    Re: America vs the world?

Well if you look at America's history, it's not about doing what is right that causes them to involve themselves with other countries, it's the American government trying to protect its own investments, or what it feels are good investments.

Pretty much everything that is happening today in terms of conflict is because of American involvement. The middle east? America not only put Saddam in power, they also gave him the same wmd's that they tried to bust him for. Wonder why Africa is in a constant state of war? Because America and Russia gave them weapons during the Cold War in an attempt to secure the Gulf of Aden, and also to be guinea pigs to the new weapons being created at the time. The mass of arms flow into Africa created a huge surge in violence, pretty much destroying Ethiopia (which is still one of the poorest countries in Africa), and violence between African tribes spread.

Terrorism in South America? Well surprise suprise, America created it. America funded the Contras in South America by selling weapons to Iran (thus creating further conflict with Iraq....who they were also funding). They also used drug money to help fund the contras, allowing them to export huge amounts of cocaine and helping to make South America the huge drug den that it is. (Funny though, that America in the same decade would launch it's "war on drugs").

As for world wars.....America likes to sit back and make some money before even flinching, so they sat back until 1917, three years after the start of the war, and had been spending their time sending arms to both sides, Allies and Germany. They seemed to have no problem making a profit from it.

During World War II, it was the exact same deal again. America sat back, sold weapons, and then entered the war only after a wake up call from Japan. America had no problem holding money for Hitler, and it wasn't until America joined in 1941 that they stopped all trading with germany and seized hitler's assets in America.

Due to the fact that America made huge amounts of money by selling weapons, and sitting back, it meant that it was the only powerhouse country left standing after WWII, with a booming economy. Russia was also a powerhouse, but having been devestated by the Germans there was little chance of ever keeping up with America.

So you see, pretty much everything wrong with the world right now is thanks to America's involvement. Even when they aren't invading countries, they ALWAYS have money invested in the background which no one can see. I could also bring up Afghanistan, which America also funded as well.

So there you have a small glimpse of the shady dealings known as American Involvement.

Many Thanks To SasuraiHell For The Sig!
