Egg.

I'd say egg as well. You can't have an evolutionary change like a chicken before giving birth I.E. hatching that chicken. It's just illogical to think that a product comes before the creation of it. It's like opening a can of soda, where'd the soda come from? Was it just made? No, it went through weeks of creation at the soda factory until it was hatched or opened and enjoyed.

They have tiny vagina's. Maybe where they probably got the expression "You eat like a bird"?

Why do you say the egg came first Silver? When you have to have the chicken to hatch the egg and a chicken to lay the egg.

Tecnicly you cant answer that question because it goes aroung in a circle. chickens are made by eggs. eggs are made by chicken. and on goes . but to solve this we'd have to go back in time and see which one did come first teh chicken when it evolved or did it first come out of an egg ohhh yeaa

I would agree with Spin Da Ish. Its just a question that loops depending on how you see the situation. A bit like is the glass half empty or half full. It all depends on the person and their perception on things.

The ability to lay eggs as a form of bringing about offspring is a Evolutionary trait, and since all life, according to evolutionary theory, stem from single cell organisms which procreated by cell division, the trait of laying eggs wasn't always around, something in nature had to have triggered the need for such an ability, so I think, at least, something that gave rise to our chickens of today, came first and then developed the ability to lay eggs.

The chicken came first.

Not exactly correct.... The existence of specialized gametes (sperm, egg) cells for the 'sexual' transmission of genetic material can be traced back all the way to green algae, which is currently believed to be the root of the evolutionary tree for all higher order organisms. And even more primitive organisms still had specialized spore stages to survive harsh environmental conditions. And even the most primitive organisms, (single celled bacteria...) have been shown to have mechanism for the 'sharing' of genetic material...

I would say it could be either... lol... God made the planet and all the creatures within it but never said which. In my eyes I'd say the egg thou because its more of a logical answer.
