Thread: Brain Teaser: Which Came First.

Ok here is what i have to say about which came first, i believe it was the chicken because if you go by the spontenous life theory, then it would obviously be the chicken,, there is no proven fact that it could be the egg because i did a scince fair project on this and got first place. Ive searched everywhere to see if the egg could have came first but nadda nothing. So it is only proven by science that the chicken came first.

Well... theoretically it's the egg, because you did'nt really say the egg had to come from a chicken, you just said somethiing like "which came first, the egg or the chicken"... So i have to agree with your mother

Or maybe the chicken was made by one of those single celled organisms and it laid an egg. I mean look at everything. When you read the bible it says that God created animals. So there for the chicken was created first. When you think of evolution you think a promo chicken laid an egg and it mutated into our chickens today.

Evolved into some kind of chicken... type... thing...
And then the egg was laid... And THEN the chicken was born.
And kept evolving into the adorable, egg giving, tastey foul we all know and love.

Then it would be the Egg that came first. A chicken...type...thing isn't actually a chicken is it. It's something that similar to a chicken, but isn't. An ostridge is similar to a chicken (in the sense that it's a bird an can't fly), but isn't a chicken.

Yes I am serious he made the chicken who made the egg. This is what I believe.

I believe the Egg came first.

If you believe the chicken came first, chances are your religious.

Where did the chicken come from? It cant magically poof into existance, unless you believe god poofed it.

I believe the egg came first, and what laid the egg isnt a chicken. If you learned evolution, you should know that animals gradually change and evolve to adapt to there surroundings. So Way back then, there was a different kind of animal, similar to a chicken, but not quite a chicken yet. Then over thousands of years, the offspring eventually was a chicken you see today.

There for, the egg came first, and a similar but not the same animal laid that egg.

That is the most logical explanation.
