That is why I can understand where Atomik & others are coming from when they stated so... I also believe that we as <some> people have an over-bearing protectiveness for the children & younger generation (at least I would like to think so & not the only 1) that we would bring up such conversation/talk to try & mininumize &/or find a solution to mature content easily viewed/heard to the younger audience... But I still say it starts at home first & with the parents...

Sure, you can get the V-chip, but kids have friends with parents that don't care (at least 8 out of 10) and that will let kids watch whatever they want. You can't control other parents and not every TV has a V-chip. I guess what I'm saying is that both parties are responsible. Although it's the cencors more than the other half that's makin' the most mistakes. | |

The world of media is constantly changing and each generation becomes more bold, I want to say almost liberal, but I know that probably isn't the right word for it. I would have to say that censors are not really doing the job that they were made for but soon we will probably have no need for them because people are being introduced to everything that is being censored at a much earlier time in their lives so they will be more open to accept what they see and hear.
