![]() ![]() ![]() Credits: 125,196 | Clairvoyance (Or "ESP ain't a sports channel!") Extrasensory perception - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I don't know if anyone's ever brought this up, but I've always considered this topic interesting; so here goes. How many of you here believe that ESP is real, despite that it cannot be scientifically proven? How many of you can say you've had moments of clairvoyance or forethought? I myself have always believed that I have ESP to a certain degree. I'm no psychic or Ms. Cleo ("Call me now!" ),but I have these dreams of being somewhere or doing something--totally within the limits of reality/science--and then they'll actually come true; meaning whatever I dream about literally takes place anywhere between two days to two weeks later!! I've had so many cases of deja vu that if we were in 'The Matrix', they'd have to call help desk to fix all the glitches! LOL. There are times when meeting someone in person, I can tell just what kind of person they are before even talking to them. I always pick up weird vibes from people, which causes me to choose my actions around them a bit more carefully. I can even tell when the s**t's gonna hit the fan from time to time. I don't think that it's possible to be able to experience these things and say that there's no such thing as ESP. What's your opinion? |

I have had dreams that came true and they totally gave me the creeps....... I try to be as reasonable as I can....even though my imagination is sky rocketing......... So, it is not that i do not believe in this....my mind just refuses to even acknowledge it.......

They haven't been able to prove the theory of evolution yet, and people believe in that! Also, I kind of have it. Not really, but kind of. I get unusually strong feelings that always come true. And I've been able to pick up vibes from people since I was little, which is why my parents stopped telling me never to talk to strangers. So yeah, I believe in it. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Credits: 125,196 | Re: Clairvoyance (Or "ESP ain't a sports channel!") Y'know, I think that ESP can even stretch past the brain. I mean that sometimes it's more your body telling you things that most people wouldn't normally pick up on. I have the prime example. I won't go in to too many details, but: I was at home--fixin' to play some darts--when my hand started itchin' like crazy; specifically, my middle finger. Well, usually that means something bad either is going to happen, or already happened. I won my dart game, so it wasn't that. A day goes by and my finger is still itchin' like crazy! So, I called my son's mother and asked if he was okay. She said HE was, but her and his brother weren't. Long story short, she was at a friends house and some sh** popped off between her and a friend and the cops ended up showin' up due to a fight between the two. CRAAAZZYYYY!! Does anyone else ever get those kinds of feelings? |

![]() Credits: 12,936 | Re: Clairvoyance (Or "ESP ain't a sports channel!") i know i belive it, in ESPer's.and i have and situations wherei knew something had gone wrong or right with those close to me...example: almost at the begening of the year, every time my best friend would call me, for some stupid reason i had the overwhelming feeling that his wife was once again pregnant..so i always asked him if his wife was preggers...he would of course deny it...well come 9months later...around october he had his 3rd child...looks like i was right...and he didnt know until a few months in...and i didnt see her till like august so its not like i knew it from body posture or language...i knew straight away...so strange...but i know my mother does this too....she just knows things...its creepy...hope i dont call you and ask if you or your girl are preggers...i know my friend never wants me to ask that question again...and i havent had the urge to ask so all is good in the world... ![]() Also i had a sudden sense of dread and feeling of loss, and had to call around cause i just knew something bad had happened...nothing showed up around my immidiate family, as my mother had that same feeling at about the same time...a few days later we found out the news, that the day we felt the dread, my mother's cousin's daughter was killed in a car accident in san fransico where she was going to school...it was a devistaing blow to her parents...but its weird...like your itching finger, you get this nagging feeling...that death actualy stop me in my tracks, as i tried to sort it out...and started to call everyone, it was that strong a feeling...

But, I DO believe that ESP is real. I've had too many things happen to say it doesn't. I also don't believe in those phone line psychics either. Ms. Cleo is a complete fraud--just like Deonne Worwick (Don't know if I spelled that right).

![]() ![]() Credits: 14,647 | Re: Clairvoyance (Or "ESP ain't a sports channel!") I believe ESP to an extent. I have had moments when I can predict what is going to happen even though I have no clue how I know it. And I have always been able to get vibes from people. I always know if I am going to like someone or not. Or if I can trust them or not. I can also sense if someone is watching me. It’s practically impossible to sneak up on me because of this. My friends have accused me of having eyes in the back of my head. I definitely don’t believe the self-proclaimed pyschics you see on TV. I always think their cheating and the whole psychic thing is just something for that channel to get some extra money. But it isn’t hard for me to believe that forms of ESP would exist. I mean the human mind is so complex. And I think almost everyone has had instances where they know something but they don’t exactly know how they know it.

![]() Otaku | Re: Clairvoyance (Or "ESP ain't a sports channel!") you just said what it was that I wanted to say but really couldn't compose verywell... although I've spent almost my entire life "in the know" and on a really bad day ( I describe it as such because I find it creepy as all sin) I have answered my friends before they even ask the questions, needless to say I have spooked some people with this and lost a few friends in the process. I have noticed one limit however whensomeone else is involved they must be no further then 20 ft from me in the moment.

Sometimes, I'll think I can hear my alarm clock goin' off, so I wake up and smash down on the snooze button only to realize it's exactly one minute before I was supposed to be up. As soon as I roll out of bed, the alarm goes off. >_<
