Welll if the stuff hits the fan, we will be there, and we wont stay neutrual, and the UN will be there too

it's funny how bush just wont stay out of peoples bussiness. it doesnt concern us and why do we care. we dont care that the other countries are fighting each other but we go in north korea cuz we wanna make friends. bull!

No we go into NK because we are going to remove one dictator and enforce the "spread" of democracy.

exactly. things that dont concern the freaking u.s. a. we dont have dictatorship and we stopped saddam husdsan and his ass is still in jail but they didnt kill him yet when he killed countless. i see a a pattern

I Ecuador, the country I come from, when you are 18 you have to report to the nearest millitary post to register, they do a physical and stuff like that, and durring your senior year, most of the gusys need to go on saturday to some sort of military training. after they are done with the physical and that kinda stuff they tell you if you have to go to the army and thats it.
I think its a good idea, keeps u fit, trained, and in some way you are like giving or helping or I dont know, your country

uhh.. anyways. I don't believe in consription, no one should be forced to fight - if people are, we might as well throw freedom of speech/choice right out the window.

There's kinda a debate about it going on here in Aust, but then again we have a shortage of troops.

BUT if say, Aust was directly attacked, then maybe, but probably then everyone will want to do something, we probably won't need to call up people.

i dont think we need conscription.
we have what we need
people are joining themselves by their own choice.
we dont need people in the military that were put there by force.
theres alot of people already in the the military that dont want to be(they chose to join but changed their minds)
and they dont put any effort into their work.
we dont need a bunch of people doing half-ass work around here
we need things dong right and the only people capable of doing that are people with their own free will.
