Demons

Demons... The word "Demon" is used by the bible as a dipction of "evil" or "manevolent" physical entities, that is not the kind of demon I am pertaining to as most of you have probably thought when entering this thread. I am talking about supernatural entities, a differnt species thats so diverse they can look like any thing from a small lizard to an over sized human. What are your beliefs on this, do you think that at once this species was an actuallity, or was it just made up mumbo-jumbo to begin with. These are the real demons, and there name has been over-used by many religions, especially when most were kind and benevolent...

Interesting subject.
Demons are ones means of finding truth in something.
It describes what a person are thing looks ,acts ,or feels.
For example I can turn from a merciful Angel into a Kill Demon.
I wish that they were 100% real.
They seem to be but as you may see, it's mostly fiction.
In my case I am haunted by demons.
Are you?

hmmm i am a chritstan... and i do believe in demons..the evil ones. they are around i just stay away from them and try to stay near the lord....but they are real i think....through i hate to say it.

Demons are real.... half of God's angels followed Lucifer. That's is why I think demons exists. But I believe in God, that's why I dare sleep in my own room(it's big and it freaked me out bcuz in my window room, you can see graveyards) lol!

In the teachings of the old religions of the west

Devils= fallen angles
demons=evil souls that hate the living
spirits=disimbodyed souls retuned form the other side
ghost= lost souls that don't know they are dead

Sorry to burst someones hoolywood induced dreams, but if you were followed by a demon then think you have to unplug and find some help; a preist, a doctor, something!

If your'e pertaining the word demon to a physical abnormality then no, I don't believe they ever existed. I wouldn't call an eight foot human a demon, just another person.

demons live on a phychological plain nowadays. Perhaps in BC they were present in subtle human forms, but the way society works today it's unlikely they'd ever rise.

I believe in demons, metaphorically, I'm also intrigued by the stories they've caused, the red skinned, pitch forked devils from the netherworld? Very interesting to me. Demons inspired my username in part. As I'm sure it's inspired several others even in this thread.

I do not believe in demons....but I'm one who believes in very few things that are supernatural. Although I believe that there is a creator, I do not believe what I do not see....I'm not to certain as to what made me think this way...maybe my environment, but definitely not the way I was raised, as my family are all hardcore Catholics. To believe that something exists supernaturally somewhere is beyond my comprehension...and therefore rendering the idea to be irrational to me. If I can see them, then I will believe.
