Did Jesus exist?

My question is do you think Jesus existed and if you do do you think he had "Holy Powers". Anwser yes or no and why.

I think yes, I don't doubt his existance, just the whole curing lepers and coming back to destroy all sinners bit. Think about it, if in all the solar systems, in all the galaxies, in all the universe, WE are it, we are Gods (considering he exists) proudest creation. Well then, Gods a simpleton and has no imagination or brains.

I would certainly throw my opinion, but I have a question that I want to ask first. Why would you call The Divine God as a simpleton and has no imagination? Or I am interpreting what you said incorrectly? ^_^

Well, there are those who look at the bible as a history book, and not a religous text. I prefer this point of veiw. I do not doubt the exsistance of Jesus. I do doubt the holiness part. I do believe that humans require some kind of faith in something, devine or not. So, Jesus' story, the New Testament, is about him trying to change the views of his modern society to benifit themselves. I like how the story of resurection does not appear until about 300-500 years after his actual death.
