Disappear? (race and religion)
Fellow AO members.. what do you think about races... Will there be a day when all race or religion,... vanishes? Tell me your opinion in this matter and state why you think that way... :)
-I have a few factors that would contribute in this matter.. ^^ :
They are... Differrent race marriages/religion, Human's mobility ( that we can go anywhere we want ), Technology, dissapearance of traditions... and if you know more.. state them :)
Opinions on this matter -
-Would one day all become of one race and forget each other's difference?
-Would one day the world have no boundaries in race? Where ALL is one and and the countries combines...? (last time in another thread.. it was proved impossible.. lol :p)
:hattip:
Re: Dissapear? (race and religion)
Neither race nor religion will disappear from this world or even from any one country for the simple reason that we humans tend to be opinionated. One person is going to have a belief (I'll say this is religion) and talk to a lot of people about it. Some of these people will say "your right" and follow the first person (a religion is born). Others will say "your wrong. It's actually this way." and group together(a second religion is born). As long as there is even a small group of people there will be different points of view that will lead to separation of faith.
The same can be said for races. A group of people from one area (state, nation country) are going to say we are from this area. as long as there are people we will divide ourselves into categories based on where we live, what we believe, or even what we look like. That doesn't mean that we can't learn to get along.
Re: Dissapear? (race and religion)
In biological senses.. i think it is very possible if we look at everyone these days.. ahh yes.. one of the factors i mentioned earlier...
People marrying each other of different races.. lol.. :p Imagine if everyone kept marrying another of a different race... My childrens would one day wake up trying to determine what race are they...
For example.. you can look at me :) My father was a chinese... and my mother was an Indian Muslim... They married and lived as a Malay(In our country.. to be a malay you have to be a muslim and live the way of the malayan does and follow their traditions), I alone have connection to three races.. o.O and im in love with another girl of a race so far away... o.O
Well humans are said to start off from one... Adam... then we are now all cousins... Lol and of different geographical factors... we become different from each other.. not to mention... gen mutation... ^^ So.. with more gen mutation in marriages collide and combined... I would say that more new races would appear and the "true race" or genuine ones would be harder to find in the future or they would just dissapear just like that....

Again, another no. As long as there is humans, there will be those that belive in something higher then themselves. Lets face it, Religion has been around for tens of thousands of years.
Yup.. This i agree with you... but will one of this many religions slowly fade? The answer is yes... many is already gone.. ^^ and possibilities that even bigger ones like my own fade.. is getting higher each day...I don't mean that the religion it self gone extinct... but.. people start to stop worshipping ^^ churches, temples, mosques...will be empty in the future... would you say yes to this my friends? I think the signs we have now shows that it is imminent...

Good example there! ^^ which means.. some religion have possibilities of getting extinct no? ^^

This reminds me of another question.. adding to the first post ^^
Re: Dissapear? (race and religion)
Race and religions won't disappear. People are usually more sexually attracted to people who look more like them. Even children of mixed heirtage are usually attracted to one of their parent's races.
Religions won't disappear. There will eventualy only be a few dominant religions but they won't disappear.

Well that is for now.. times are changing... I mean.. i have 95% of friends.. guys and girls.. having hots for Western girls and Chinese.. lol :p Try to look at Americans for example... Notice that more Americans fancy black people? Did you see the Afro American yet? :p The heck... There's even pop stars and singers already.. i know you can name them... :p All the races going to mix up so badly till one day it'll be hard to know which is which  I look at my Eurasion friend as a Benggali and another more fairer(he totally looks like a malay exept the fact of a few european traits on his face).. as a yeti...
Re: Dissapear? (race and religion)
Yea, but even though there is a lot of intermarriage going on, If you would ask someone what race they are your going to get different answers depending on were they live. For example ask someone born in Mexico they will say they are Mexican, born in England they are English, born in Irland they are Irish. The only country that doesn't do this is the U.S. here people say I am African American, Native American, Irish, Italian, Mexican, etc. so as long as there are separate countries then we will still have separate races.

Yeap thats so true, I never understood the fact of all the americans use to put things in that way, When I heard the first time the "African American" I couldnt stop laughting about it!!
Anyway, If all that race and relegion thing could desapear nothing would be the same in that case I rather die!
