Lol i have heard that marihuana can cure cancer. There are many herbs out there that can even cure HIV, but they are unknown to the world.
now what kinda herbs are you talking about hmmmm.... lol of course its ok to use herbs as long as its not a drug as some herbs have actually been proven to help although they still arent officially regocnised by the medical society.

It boils down to money. They're not recognized because the other drugs make the hospital more money.Originally Posted by swordfish3
I like the sound of herbs. Anything natural that can be used to help the body sounds good to me. Mind you, medicines can help you a lot but they can be addictive if you don't use them wisely (Namely sleeping pills). Herbs don't work that way though. Not usually anyway, and herbs have always seemed to help me.
I'm pretty sure that Marijuana causes cancer.
I am also worried about this "no side effects" line. How do you know its not purely placebo effect then?
Sometime i drink Chrysanthemum tea, they're good to your body evenly the taste little weird.

I took some strange Japanese substance my wife gave me for indigestion. It looked like a small package of polished charcoal BBs. It always works for her but it didn't work for me that time and I went back to Pepto Bismol.
On another occaision while living in Japan I had a bad cold once. I purchased a canned drink that looked like it claimed to have a lot of vitamin C. I drank one and then another and then a couple more and then I was drunk as hell. I learned the next day that I was drinking Lemon CHU-HI. It has vitamin C but it is also alcoholic. My cold was indeed gone the next day but it was replaced with a mild hangover. CHU-HI is wonderful and dangerous stuff especially in Japan because you almost never have to drive anywhere in Japan and the Japanese police usually ignore public intoxication--I have seen drunk salarymen urinating off of train platforms. It is easy to slip ignored into a life of constantly reeling around in a sea of alcoholic horrors.
