no rule says you have to read the bible to know God. how can God be just and require that? the truth of teh bible is proclaimed by the entire universe, noone who majors in mathematical and astronomical sciences will dispute the the universe simply can't exist without some kind of creator. simply look to the stars, or the forests, or the oceans, to se that god must be (and is) everywhere. the basic tenets of the bible are basically common sense. people who say that america's laws (and most other country's) aren't based on the bible are sadly misinformed. thou shalt not (ten commandments -1) and you have the basic law of america (and the 1st commandment to a degree).

if you don't come to god by the bible, that's cool; if you do, thats cool too. As long as you believe that there is a just and righteous god who is worthy of all praise and glory then thats all he wants.

I don't believe in god. The day he comes down to earth and says "hey, I'm god" and can prove it. Then I'll believe in god/gods, or whatever other relgions and gods there are out there.

Why? I don't know. I just lost what little interest I did have in god or religion. I guess it's because, I see no point in worrying about it. I have better things to worry about, like having fun, earning money, doing what I like doing, enjoying the things and people that are in my life.

Like the person above me said. If there is a god and he wants us to beleive in him then why does he let little kids be born with cancer when he is supposed to be so merciful. Can someone answer me that?

*takes a look around* Ok, lebrasiara isn't here.... She would kill me if she heared this, maybe, I couldn't put my faith in a book also, so I don't... God deffinetely exists, I'm sure of that because he found me even without that book...
And I'm sure it doesn't matter weather you're christian or budhist or whatever, it's the same god for everyone, different people around the world just see him different.
And God has to make people with cancer and stuff for we are humans, we are always complaining, if there were no sickesses we wouldn't like something else... we always find something, there's a need for evil for us to see good... It's like that, we are... blind sometimes... we understand what we have only when it's gone... If there was no pain and sadness, we wouldn't understand how luchy to have love, friends and health, isn't it so? I'm sure it would be like that with me.

I am not a Christian, but I don't think all Christians are like that. I had a few tell me that I will go to hell since I am not a Christian, but I wouldn't suppose all are like that ~!! Well, in my country there aren't a lot of Christians, but all of whom I have met are very open and kind people. ^^

And I don't think you have to be a Christian to be a good person ~! As religious as I am, I don't think one even needs to believe in God in order to be a good human being. That's just my belief, of course.

I had a brother who died of really sad sickness before I even got to see him; he wasn't even one year old when he died. It was so sudden and unexpected ~! Look at me now, why isn't he given a life to embrace all the love and happiness offered by his parents, while I get to live it? It wrecks my heart! It hurts even more when I visit his grave on his birthday! Why not me, but him?

According to my belief, it's because of Karma. I ask no one to believe me. It's just my belief, is all.

great intelligence made us be it alians that left there
DNA here for us to live on as there kind died out to having monkey

A few days ago I was walking home and a lighting storm came up. I started to run towards home and I said, "if there is a god strike me down with lighting," a few times.

that's cool man i just found it funny since i rarely see anything
like that it really keeps you o your toes around here seeing things
like that but no worries i have dine that my self i just saw it as funny is all.

and i agree with what you are saying its that if you belive in something
you have to have faith or not have faith at all and to some asking for
something to happen and it dosnt is all the proof some people need
which is cool since it is what makes each persons beilife thatmuch
more important to have
