now that is someting that i might be able to sink my teeth into, did you know that one of the churchs in England has a horn form a real unicorn, or thats what I herd from the Histroy station. Yea in midevil times churches used mithal beast the drgon symbolized there devil and the unicorn was a symbol of there crist. now a days if you go into a chuch and say that you belive in one of them they will call you a sinner and tell you your going to hell.

Theres always going to be questions that us humans cant fully explain. God has put it in our hands, so it is up to us if we decide to believe in him or not, he gave us a choice to follow him and his righteous ways or burn in the depths of hell. God works in mysterious ways, and humans tend to not believe in things that they cant solve with simple equations and such. And let me but it this way, lets say there is no god at all, but the whole time you had faith till the very end, at the very least you could say that you was just being safe in case there really was a god. But if you didnt have faith , and when it came down to it and you found out there was a god, you would be screwed all because you just felt like not believing in something over you life time. It doesnt hurt to do good deeds in your life, pray every once in a while.

So dont loss hope or faith now becuase of those questions you cant get off your mind, because in the end it will all work out for the better.

I never said that I didnt belive in god all that I said that I didnt belive in the man god. I know that there is someting out there. When it comes to faith I have alot of it. I the end your sole is the only thing that makes you, why do you think that god and the devil wants it so bad? Dose the devil want it to mock god or dose it want it for other reasons, I don't know all that I know is my sole (gods sole) is the only thing thats mine everthing else just fades

I think that God exists in a number of different ways for different people. Even if He physically cannot be touched or seen He is present in different aspects of life. So, yes I believe that God does indeed exist. As far as Heaven, I believe that depending on what the belief system of the person that dies has been throughout their life Heaven may or may not exist. I think that heaven is the last final creation of our minds when we die. It is a place that we create to provide ourselves with comfort when all things come to an end. I believe that when i die there will be a kind of Heaven waiting for me.

All this talk about god what about the bigger pitchure? We are forgot the person that can make it all happen for us and that is Jesus (if you belive in the bible) they only way to get to heaven is though him right. I have read these posts all day only a cuple if any give him respect to what he has done and what he did for us. Just because I dont belive in the bible dose not mean that I have never read it. The only way to get to heaven is though him if you think back Jesus had a talk with god, god whashed his hands of all humans god gave us to Jesus(if you belive that then if not I am sorry) sort of Jesus died on the cross for all of are sins and people should give him his props. Unless you are like me and think that almost everthing in the bible is a made up well not made up more like a story of good values.

The question is whether or not God exists; there isn't really a bigger picture. Some say Jesus and god are the same, so believing in one usually means believing in the other. Jesus's actions and heaven don't necesarrily apply do they? The question was asking do we believe in god, and does not specify any religion or any particular God, since the poster said they have practiced many. She/He is asking for suggestions.

I find this difficult to actually be seen as a debate, but oh well. The follow up questions on finding a true path or what not, can they actually be answered by anyone here? You don't believe in the bible(which is suppose to be the word of God), and you most likely don't believe in the people of the church, so why believe any of us exactly? How actually?

You question the foundations of religion(any religion you have practiced), so how are you suppose to have faith in complete strangers?

Are you actually asking about suggestions or opinions about Christianity?

Either or, my suggestion, figure it out on your own. You aren't lost because you simply don't believe in something, you are lost when you believed in something and then lose faith in it. Since you haven't, perhaps finding someting that suits your wants and needs is the best option. It is a preference in cases that involve people such as yourself. It also involves having faith in the belief of being answered one day.

For myself, does God exist? Hell if I know. I don't believe it exists or not; I merely have faith that one day I will come across the answer. Until then, believing in that is good enough for me.

I am a Catholic so I believe in God. God created everything in the world. Yes I cannot see him in real life. But He is here right now beside me. God is the Holy Spirit. It's really impossible that no one created Adam and Eve and they were the first one to be in earth. It's really amazing if you read the bible.

I also believe you do not have to believe in a god to be a good person. I am a great person and I do not have a religion, but I hate people who think the opposite. Another thing that whole crap with not supposed to hate people or so it says in the bible. I am sorry but I can't help it, there are some pretty dumb people out there that do straight up stupid crap.

Thats would be nice to believe, and I have read the bible...I have one on my book shelf. Anyway, how do you kno god is there. Every time I prayed I felt nothing. I still feel nothing. So tell me how do you know he is there?

I believe in something bigger than myself... something bigger than everything. But I call it energy. Energy makes the most sense to me because its what everything is made up of. Living, or just dormat objects... anything from a newborn baby, to my computer keyboard. Its all made up of energy. All matter. We're all just a bunch of electrons floating around a nucleus.

So, maybe God isnt about whats bigger at all. Maybe its about what so microscopically small.

One thing I know I ~don't~ agree with. Is personafying God. He? She? Father? Mother??? come on now... don't you think the god of everything has surpassed being labled by gender, Or any person characteristics for that matter?
