It's possible the stories of the dragons kept going and going until they stretched across the globe.

Good point. Probably, like the dinosaurs, they had become extinct some time ago. Some civilizations that didn't have association with one another for centuries still could have had about the same myth before even coming in contact through trade or whatever means. Different types of course, but still very similar.

ok i pretty sure actually very sure it wasn't based off a real dragon (thouth that would be cool) but i saw a diagram and a 4 paragraph discription of how dragons breathe fire. It was actually pretty cool and it looked convincing.

I've heard of that too. I think it had something to do with when the breath of this kind of reptile came in contact with a certain chemical it would ignite--producing flame.

Actually thats very posable considering that there are entire civilazations of people that have been wiped out without a trace. (saw that on the discovery channel. lol)

yea that is true lol, but if they are real, i was reading a book that said if they r then they r like a race living under the earth in some environment
