CAn this really be called "subconscious" though? If it's subconscious than you do something without thinking. In a dream, truthfully, your mind is full of activity. I find it more to be a leap out of time.

Actually it's the other way around. Your subconcious mind knows everything that you have ever experienced. And when you dream, this is your subconcious mind at work. How hard would it be for your subconcious to anticipate situations that will happen and portray them to you in a random dream? Not really that dificult since your subconcious mind is pretty much the most amazing machine on this planet.

i have had dreams before that often, as you put it "a gate to the future" but nothing such as death. simple things, such as me falling, tripping another person. riding my bike, etc.

I too been having dreams about things that'd end up having in the future. I had a couple about the past of another girl who suffered rape,molest, and abuse and may not be alive as we speak

i had a dream that a rabbit was eating all my shrooms! The funny thing is...........i dont even do shrooms :S
