People should have the will to live life to the end and never try to fall into the hands of death. Why bring your own death by doing euthanasia? Even if life is painful, live the life presented by god to the extreme. Do not be weak and give away life for suffering.

Since our country is the only one who alows euthanasia..I say yes...
Why??..Cuz a ill man is as good as dead...why letting him suffer more..

actually the netherlands allows it too(i think). not legally but they dont really care if its performed.

about our country. our country does not care about legalizing it at the moment. it hasnt reached the national level yet. everything about euthanasia starts from the state level. ohio(i thinks) is the only state that has passes a law on legalizing euthanasia on thier terms.

I have never thought that the taking of one's life either by one's self or by a willfully allowed other is acceptable however if I were in such an amount of physical pain and did not want to be a "vegetable" then I would have to say it is understandable but I will not agree it is acceptable.

that seems fair, i mean if they're right about to die and have no last requests it's definately okay in my opinion. if they're just old, then no, but if they don't want to live any longer, i can't really give an opinion. i'd rather suffer through my old aged problems instead of being killed quickly, but that's just my opinion...

i believe it isnt an act of murder but rather an act of mercy, eunthanasia stops suffering and it's better that way, rather than living for a longer time but have to suffer...

well, i've stated my opinions on this during a class discussion... i think euthanasia will only be reasonable is the family agrees on it, or the person himself, if possible... it's the only way to end that person's suffering... it doesn't feel great if you're hanging on for your life, surely...
