I used to be such an otaku... back in the day, they used to call it super-otaku.

But then..... I gave that up when I actually started having a life.

Which is very funny, because I said the same thing when I thought I had a life.

I personally classify anyone who say that as ignorant! How would they know if your a geek just because you watch anime? That just another stereotype being given out because they are too afraid themselves to watch it! Who know maybe if they weren't so quick to jump to conclusions they might actually get into it!

i watch anime all the time and no one has ever called me a geek , i think a geek is just soem one who waste there time by studying all day and doesn't even watch tv

na a gook is someone who sleeps with there pc
and love a good chalnge. anime has no chalange
unless its an 8 hour merathon that your watching

these people must be ignorant, but sadly, most otaku really are geeks, seeing as otaku is the japanese word for geek and all... anyways... they are ignorant by classifying all of us as otaku/geeks... I know a few who are not geeks, they just occasionally watch anime... and are more or less jocks the rest of the time...

really we are not geeks but what i think he means is that people who he knew were to in with anime.

T-T My mom calls me a geek for anime alot. She says that she hopes this phase for me will be over. I think people call us geeks just because we are into it, and that they don't really see the point.
