 Credits: 146,094 | Google and the airwaves Hey i just saw on Attack of the Show that Google was planning to bid on the airwaves that the FCC is actioning off. they supposedly will try there best to outbid the likes of ATT and Verison, and bring cheap or free services such as WiFi and allow any internet page on any phone. i was wondering, what are your opinions on this. i personnally thing it would be great, as google would steal more power from the clutches of the likes of big phone companies.

Credits: 425 | Re: Google and the airwaves i see a lawsuit coming becuase it gonna put some companies out of busness. tmobile has already hoped on the band wagan with a plan for it so there alright.but as for the others they need to come on or there gonna be out of busness people will just buy phones without plan the hook them using wifi

And as it stands right now with current cell phone technology, WiFi wouldn't be able to handle the ammount of data that streams through a cell phone network
