Holiday to honor Cartoonists

I wish they make a holiday for cartoonist to honor them and thier work.
lot of good cartoonist has gone and there are some well remenbered.
they make us laugh and they inspired us to draw I think cartoonist should honored . What are your opinions to make a national holiday for cartoonists?

Not that great of an idea, holidays are reserved for religious things, or people that did great things, cartoonists are neither.
I agree cartoonists pwn, but they don't need their own holidays lol.

Ugh Who needs Holy holidays God never did anything great but to kill.
Cartoonists have been honor on tv , there books about cartoonists and thier work..

Well would honor a god that going to Kill everyone some day ?
Anyway if wasn't for cartoonist We be bored Anime is going big and it's a big seller, Come on you hard they work to come up ideas aination is very hard work..

Well yes i guess you could honer them but really they get to draw and have fun its not like its that hard to do it so i wouldnt say they need a holiday because they have a fun job does anybody think the same thing im thinking.

Not to mention they have fans ,it wasn't for them you wouldn't have anime cosplay or anime based video games.

That's besides the point, and also, this thread is a 'what if' Cartoonists will never get their own holiday(s) Because it's just not how things work, end of story.

What the matter don't like cartoonist?
Don't you think they desrve some notcing?
give them some credit man if not a holiday at least honor them.
Gezzz at least I take pride in Mr.miyazeki and his work.
with out anime this anime online would be online.
