Sorry Dave, I didn't see the joke in my statement, so srry if I don't laugh, & thats exactly what I'm saying they aren't being chosen to be ridiculed, we are choosing to ridicule them. Understand? hm? Good. I'm not trying to be rude mannered in any way but your friend had to wake up one morning & chose to be gay, thats the only open window I see.O_o

It is said that homosexuality originated from the east. How can something that is not a choice originate from somewhere else? It is influenced & impaired on one, like we Americans open our selves to other culture. Am I Hetrosexual? In a way yes, I must say that 4 years ago I was bi, I chose to be that, my friend is gay, now he's married to a woman & loves her.Who knows, maybe I'll turn bi tomorrow, it's my choice.

The both of you are in a way RIGHT. SOME people cannot control their feelings and natural affections towards the same sex, but many DO. A lot of people do choose to be bisexual or gay. They get curious and try it out, and if they like it.. they become it. I know quite a few people who've done this. However, as I first mentioned some people cannot control it.

So are they sinning? Bibically speaking, YES. But.. that isn't to say that God doesn't accept them just as much as he accepts any other sinner on this planet, I.E - EVERYONE.

I dont think anyone is born straight, and noone is born gay, but i doint think people choose either. Like take me for example, i just simply realized that true love does not discriminate.

And to kinda support my theory that noone is born straight or gay is that a majority of people when they are young think that boys are better than girls, and thats girls are icky cuz they have cooties.

But if someone told you you like either a guy or a girl youd be like ewww, no gross, i dont like him/her.

But then when you get older and start thinking of relationships, society tends to push you over to the heterosexual side of relationships because of its majority of heterosexuals you know?

Well your friend is either in denial(went back In the closet) or he was never truly gay to begin with. Being strait or gay is a part of you, it who you are. You don't choose to be gay, its just a part of what makes you, you.

As for you, you don't just turn gay. You either are attracted to the same sex or not. I for one was never attracted to guys, and i wouldn't never say "hey im going to try and be gay this week".

well i asked my priest about it and if you want to know the christian religous answer it's this. Being homosexual is not a sin, but acting out on it is. like it's okay if your gay and like the same sex you just can't marry them or have sex. that is what my priest said that is the "religous" answer if you don't like it don't tell me anything about it cause i didn't say it i am just the messenger.

That was the whole topic of discussion in this thread, in earlier posts. The feelings you have for the same sex is not the sin. The actual act of getting intimate with them is. It's a sin because God made men and women to procreate. To reproduce. Also, it says so in the bible. (You can check out the earlier posts in this thread for some excerpts.) So, if you have sex with someone of the gender, you are going against God's word and preventing a child from being born.

Sodom and Gomora were destroid by flaming brimstone mainly because of homosexuality,so I think it is a sin.............................and sodom was named that because of all of the sodomy.............and thinking that someone looks good when they are the same sex isn't the same as being attracted to them. and I wanted to clearify something if you are attracted to someone of the same sex that leads to thoughts of sodomy,which is a sin. jesus said so when he said that even thinking of adultry is commiting it,this is the same case but with people of the same sex.
