I dont think it is. I mean my friend is like that and I say by all means its her choice. But I mean now a days its hard to decifer sin from non sin and even though it says it in the bible dosn't really mean anything to me. the bible says alot of things that I dont agree with. So it's all a mater of oppinion. but me I say its not a sin.

Homosexuality wasn't the only sin made by those who were living in Sodom and Gomorra; it was probably the overall picture that led to their destruction. God was seeking the righteous and there is no mention that the decision was based solely on homosexuality.

It most likely wasn't even the worst of the sins. Was homosexuality in one of the ten commandments? It may be in the whole 'unnatural law' bit, but these people were guilty of perhaps far worse crimes than that of homosexuality. I see and read far more trials involving honor, courage, love, greed, and selflesness, than trials involving homosexuality. Saying that it was the cause or using it as an excuse doesn't seem to bear much logic.

Eh, guess the dispute over whether or not Sodom and Gomorahh actually existed wouldn't mean anything either I suppose. There are plenty of writers who use names, symbols, metaphors, and previous occurences and situation to pass along their message.

Did they come up with the name Sodom and Gomorahh before the destruction or after? Sounds a bit too convenient in my opinion.

All of these things can be debated,

None of them are any more "true" than any of the others. I enjoy the debate forums, but I don't think there is much to be said. The people who think that homosexuality is a sin, are going to use the Bible, and everyone else is going to play the human nature card.

There are some deeper issues here, like, what are the deeper implications if homosexuality IS a sin, or what about the struggling soul who is both religious (we'll say, Christian for this example) and homosexual.

By the way, it is a sin to be a robot.

I'm just throwing that out there.

I don't think being homosexual is a sin and thats just my belief. I fully support my friends who came out being homoesexual and can careless what society thinks.

Now this comment make me think what the heck? You can get AIDS from anyone and not just homosexuals. I knew a hetro-woman who gave her virginity to a hetro-man she loved and found out months later she got aids from him. Somehow I doubt this is some kind of punishment or else why would everyone be affected and not just the homosexuals for this so called sin?
