Thread: I predict in 4 years....

I hate to say these but within four years another thing we will see that you guys havnt already said is that the USA will not be the major power in the world but it will be a three way or two way. USA, China, and Russi or USA and China being the same or one being a little stronger then the others. After that there will be another cold war.

One thing that comes to mind right to mind is the economy. I think it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better especially under Obama's tax plan. I'm all for taxing big companies but at the same time so many companies have already filed bankruptcy, have closed down all together, or have been bought out by foreign companies. Some examples of this can be seen with Circuit City who has filed bankruptcy and has closed down a number of stores. There's the situation that happened with AIG and not to mention the whole bailout fiasco involving the big 3 of the car industry. And this has all happened before the taxes have gone up for companies like these.

Since companies are already under so much pressure because of the failing economy, I believe that Obama's tax plan is going to lead to a lot of more of similar situations that I have stated, lay-offs, and just a lot of industry disappearing. If anything I believe that Obama's tax plan is going to do a lot more harm than good but I may be wrong. I really want to be wrong on this one.

There have been the three super powers for decades already. After WWII the world powers were US, Russia, China (China later on) Then the fall of the Soviet Union was US, China, Russia. And now it's looking like it's going to be China, US, Russia if we don't get our act together.

I predict in for years that the world will oveer flow with water and no one can stop it!!!
But in two years i predict that the whole world would change as we know it!
One year Obama will take control of all the prices of gas. food, ect.

Well then I guess I better put on my little arm floaties.
How would Obama controle Gas? We already control and export food (the only thing we do export) But gas belongs to the OPEK countries for the most part and not the US and it is they that control the price of gas... Unless Obama some how figures out to move the Earths crust around so that all the oil is under the US.

acutally The US does have some of its own oil under our own soil so we wont have to rely so much on foregin oil. not that we wont need it but i think if we start using are own resources it'll be able to help our economy

Well I was talking about the VAST magority but you are correct. The problem is getting passed the buricratic B.S. and the bitching that will be coming from some groups of people.
