Another way to think about it is, how is he driving his car. Maybe his workplace is far or hes a speeder etc.Originally Posted by LittleHobbit13
Slowly but surely we are switching to more energy efficient cars or ways to get around. As far as prices are concern for these cars, when more of these hits the market the prices for it will drop. Of course we as consumers must start things off first.

Well it depends on the size of the tank, engine, how fast you drive and the tires. I pay $2.79 a gallon now, and i have a 4-clyinder with a 12 gallon tank. Also knowone uses all the gas in the tank b4 filling up, so i usually put 10 gallons in. So thats $27.99 US.Originally Posted by jaam0927

her in VA the gas price si $2.99 man, many people complain about it, but nothing can be done to fix the problem. I heard the gas prices has gotten up becuase Bolivia is not exporting oil to USA.
Actually they aren't jacking up the prices for gas to force people to buy new hybrid cars. Oil companies are jacking up the price and keeping you without an alternative fuel source becuase they want your money, to milk you dry before the next gen fuel source hits the market. Which will be happening somewhere around 2025 by which that time the price for gas per gallon will have reached an average of four dollars, so it looks to me like someone isn't in that big of a hurry to save the people money.Originally Posted by bloodymoonreaper
