Another way to think about it is, how is he driving his car. Maybe his workplace is far or hes a speeder etc.

Slowly but surely we are switching to more energy efficient cars or ways to get around. As far as prices are concern for these cars, when more of these hits the market the prices for it will drop. Of course we as consumers must start things off first.

    Simple:
Stop depending on it too much and go look for more.
If only more people whould listen.
Please dont waste what we have.
It's not what I want to deal with later.

Well it depends on the size of the tank, engine, how fast you drive and the tires. I pay $2.79 a gallon now, and i have a 4-clyinder with a 12 gallon tank. Also knowone uses all the gas in the tank b4 filling up, so i usually put 10 gallons in. So thats $27.99 US.

It is a great idea, but I can't help but think that maybe everyone won't be able to afford a new car and the prices going up higher will get so chaotic. What do you think?
Actually they aren't jacking up the prices for gas to force people to buy new hybrid cars. Oil companies are jacking up the price and keeping you without an alternative fuel source becuase they want your money, to milk you dry before the next gen fuel source hits the market. Which will be happening somewhere around 2025 by which that time the price for gas per gallon will have reached an average of four dollars, so it looks to me like someone isn't in that big of a hurry to save the people money.
