Thats an interesting Theory, But if there was life on Venus, Even with the Sun Being even Hotter than it is at the moment then. Venus now has a Poisonous Atmosphere, and Temps overs 300C also with Constant Lava flow and Other Known Disturbances.

It seems Impossible for a smart being of life to live there. I believe maybe, a smart being of life lived in Mars though.

Oh I see what you did there.

Possibly, but they've found tons of life forms in the most inhospitable of places here on Earth. Who knows what kind of lifeforms became intelligent.

Earth has the ability to host Life in places where we cannot travel to, via with Heat vents, Theres Lifeforms in the sea that never see the sun ever just they get their energy off heat vents.

Life has also been seen in pools of methane that are at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, so it proves that life can exist in more extremes than we believed possible.

Lava, and a near pure carbon dioxide atmosphere. That equals No ozone if you think about.

    Re: Life on Other Planets

That's the big question now. Some scientists think that maybe alien lifeforms don't need Ozone to survive. But still, they have found several planets that have signatures indicating that there is an atmosphere present, thanks to the huge space telescopes.

the best for bet for life inside our system, is mars and the moon of Saturn, titan. Because Titan contains a rare Volcano that spews Water, ammonia, and methane. Thats a huge deal, also theres been reports of tar there as well.

Europa is also a good possibility. NASA is proposing a mission to that moon with the possibility of trying to drill through the ice to the watery layer beneath.
