good and that is it! well if it wasnt good why does everyone wants work hard to get more and more...??but hey i think money doesnt bring happiness...

Money seems so unnessecary. If everything was free, and people used their talents to benefit the greater good, we'd be so much better off. If you're thinking "If everything was free, how would people make a living?" you are missing the point. Making a living means what, having food and a house. What if that stuff were free? Imagine, education is free so everyone can learn skills and become productive, thus increasing overall productivity. With those skills, houses, technology, food, automobiles, everything is produced. This stuff is offered to all, and it doesn't hurt the person who gives it away because they know how to make it themselves, or could just pick it up somewhere. Money brings good things, but it's existense and the concept of using it is awful. Money drives people to do so much evil, and people without it are forced to live in horrible conditions. Shouldn't we begin to think about helping each other out, instead of thinking "Time is money". It's a sad state of affairs when people would turn the other cheek on their fellow man, for a payday.

I couldn't agree with you more. There was a time when people didn't have money. They used what G_d gave them. They worked, or traded for what they wanted or needed. I believe that one day it will be that way again, but till then the masses will be in want. Many ancient societies believed that their will be a great occurrence/awakening in the year 2012. Who knows, maybe that will be the year when life become like one of our anime shows, and mankind will get over it, and start working for the betterment of all.

Money is much better to trade with then a sheep or a seashell (imagine you have to take a sheep with you to school to buy yourself lunch... ^^ lol), also money works to tell the value of a thing, and to save value (it's much easier to hide money under your matrace than boxes of gold and jewelery)

If we wouldn't have money, people would be just as greedy for those seashells and sheep... os it doesn't even matter... Money is not the evil thing here- the wish of humans to be rich and famous is the evil thing...

Not quite sure where this thread is headed. But I'll give it my best shot. I think there would be chaos without currency. I hate the symbolism in money (Especially US currency). I think we should just use rocks--- The bigger, the higher in value.

I was just reading the global warming thread. If the ice caps melt, and oceans rise... Earth would probably be a valuable substance...

money has good and bad sides ... it depends on the person personality overall but money is closer to the bad side from the good one ... there's a lot of benefits someone gains by having money but on the other hand there's a lot more destruction in it ... still it is the thing that every human being wishes to have ... one of the bad sides i'm talking about is that's no one ever gets tired out of having money and more and more of it ... it is a sad fact but it is a truth that everyone knows

It is good cause of you can buy things and provide for your family or do what ever you want.
Bad because money corputs people and we have wars ovver money cause some poeple dont have money like others.
