In natural selection sometimes whole species go extinct. I'm not condemning or condoning nature's natural selection process. But you have to look and compare it to how the economy works considering we work in such a way subconsciously.
Such instances such as bank failures, war, and recession cause such depressions as you know, and this isn't unfamiliar in this generation.
So yes, it appears radical to say that you would accept such a state of poverty in humanity and while I certainly am not, you also have to factor in that even with Obama's bailouts that this might be a reality. Like I said, some companies' demise is imminent and the entire fact that they are swaying between survival and toppling completely is sheer proof.
By trying to merely delay the demise by spending billions possibly may make us much worse off if they do fall. Then with the debt it will combine into an entire disaster much worse.
I'm not condoning 'world economic ruin', and I have no problem with helping companies survive unless helping them survive means we are hundreds of trillions of dollars in debt.
