I dont think that's true. I date online and I date in person. I'm not a shy nor fat person. I'm really not ugly because for one, my name wouldnt be Yumiko meaning most beautiful AND would have a fanclub about me for nothing. As for me dating online, if I get to know someone well and they want to date me, I'll date them (if I like them).

ummm...i think its all right...but its like a double-edged sword,too much trust in your relationship with a person you met online can hurt you so be careful....
