I agree, we need ta grow up; or rather should I say that the media needs ta. This kind of stuff is completely unruly and uncalled for, and ta think that we rely on them for information 'bout what's goin' on in the world. It's completely childish and immature and that's why I don' watch FOX or CNN much anymore.

Thats completely stupid. Who gives an SH what his name sounds like, will that effect how well he does in office.....no not at all, i dont even know why you consider this a problem.

"Yea Im not voting for this guy because I hate his name"......stupidity...not that im saying you guys are doing that its just that Ive heard that same thing from people who arent voting for him because of that simple lame reason

I agree. This is tiresome! It's like watching a bunch of spoiled kids who don't get their way on national TV. These guys make all sorts of accusations and point fingers about a man they probably have never even spoken to, let alone take time to get to know! I can understand the Osama/Obama slip up. I've done it a couple of times. I wouldn't compare the two, as that would be comparing apples and oranges; but I've accidentaly called Obama "Osama" a couple of times. Oops, LOL.

I even thought he was Muslim for a short period of time. Didn't care, but I thought he was. Even if he WAS a Muslim, I don't think it should matter. There are plenty of Muslim Black Americans, hell there's plenty Muslims in this country PERIOD. Not every Muslim is a radical Muslim! Not all Muslims want to blow up buildings or commit suicide bombings. Lots of Muslims only want the world to be a better place, like most people of other faiths.

And the whole Somali dress thing... So friggin' what??? Yeah, it woulda been SO MUCH WORSE if he showed up in a Kimono, LOL. Like we'd all lose oxygen and suffocate if he shows up again in Somali dress. He's half African! Let the man celebrate his heritage!

I think people should just let the man be. I mean, he's OBVIOUSLY doin' a good job at what he does, otherwise he wouldn't be on a ten state run over Hilary Clinton!

Um, No. Seeing you like anime, you should have known there are guy Kimonos. So it wouldn't have been that weird.


I know it doesn't have any bearing on the man, but i don't know if I can vote for a guy with the middle name of Hussein. Like with Mc Cain(SP?), he looks like hes dead. I don't know if i can vote for a guy that looks like hes got one foot in the grave. Looks like your lovable Monk here might not be voting at all this election.
