There is a difference in believing something and imposing it upon everyone else who may not share your beliefs.

Why would anyone be any less of a "good Catholic" for being politically pro-choice? Especially when our constitution guarantees the right of each and every one of us to choose our own religious beliefs and a major feature of our political system is the seperation of church and state...

Are you saying one can't be a good Catholic and be a good politican?

It shouldn't matter a whit what church one attends the second that cheeks hit the chair in the Oval Office. We need a man to uphold the rule of law, the will of the majority, the sanctity of the constitution: not attempt to change it to fit a single religious/special interest/coorporate agenda.

It's not our president's job to dictate what we are to believe or what is moral. It is our job to tell him what we want... and his job to work toward achieving it.

I don't know if Obama's the right guy... but I'm certainly not going to be bothered by his personal religion or views on morality unless he's made it clear he intends to do everything in his power to shove them down my throat.

yea but taking a stand and saying i am pro life is not the same thing as shoveing what you think down someone throat you could still say what you think and honistly i think i would be less likely to vote obama if he is pro chose but that just me other people disagree so what ev but that just how i think.

Why are we talking about here that obama name is so close to osama. That is really dumb I mean bush is something else but someones name. He is at least a better thing to vote for then the republican.

That's the media for u, all that they care about r ratings and they don' care whose lives and careers (political or otherwise) they ruin, or attempt ta, in the process. They claim ta b reportin' the news, but anymore nowadays, especially lately, all they ever do is gossip. I say if he is muslim, who cares?! Is he black, so What?! A blue skin martian with an enormous skin rash 'cause he's allergic ta cherries, and ur point is?!

My point is that the media is always, either, blowin' things outta proportion, always reportin' bad news, or even down right fibbin'. All in an effort ta get u ta watch. Gossip, gossip, gossip. It's immature, atrocious, and embarrassin' behavior and I'm surprised that more ppl within the comedy circuit aren' usin' this as part of their prime material.

yea but we let them get away with it and it does get ratings i think that people need to stop being so dumb and let the media know thats the crap we dont care to hear and they will stop but i dont see that coming to be because society sucks and because people seem to like gossip.

yea but are people really better if they let them get away with it and do nothing to stop it we need to stop eating up the dumb gossip that the media puts out and look crap up on are own and not belive every thing we hear random people say.
