    Re: passion and relationships?

Trial and error, learn from your mistakes. A good friend of mine once told me, "What happens to you in the past, only prepares oyu for the future".

If two people are so lucky that they can find that one true love, and can be with them the rest or their lives (im not talking about saying you will at age 14 and its been a year since then) than I applaud and will ask what happened.

My grandparents had that relationship and they both told me the same thing, passion got them there. Of course they also touched each other which has given me nightmares, but it was what I beleive is the true key to a succesful and long lasting relationship.

So the point of this whole subject is everything is a give and take so u must be able to do both to receive both.
So i say it is easy to define the perfect relationship between a man and woman but the pitfalls is so many so thread softly to not be caught with your pants down.[expression]
If u talk to alot of ppl about their relationships and the deeper meaning before the end of it u will find out that 50% of them thought it was going fine and then it ended. This period when they thought everything was peachy the other one was looking around to find someone else.So define it as much as u want it is not like shrimp cocktail- a set of ingredients and u A for away.

    Re: passion and relationships?

There are a lot of obstacles and hard points in arelationship, but every relationship has those things. You have to overcome those and be strong. I don't see it as a giveing situation, you recieve and react as well.

I do agree that a good relationship isn't just a few ingredients, but you have to work to get it just right. There will always be trial and error to find that specific taste, perfect blend of flavor. Zen.

It takes time, and when you talk about how things end, it comes down to a few very basic things. Attention and affection are usually what realationships lack and are the reason why they fail and why one side or both are looking for someone else.

Its not a decision to be taken lightly or too quickly.

Sooner or later you can find those certain things that work and will keep you solid. If you don't find it sooner or later you will always lose.

U forgot to mention communication/attitude which offcourse i feel is one of the most important things in a relationship.
Communication to say what is not right and what is just the right flavor.
Attitude to not giveup on someone when u feel u cant help doing something that they don't like but be willing to make the change because it is for your own benefit ..

    Re: passion and relationships?

Sorry, communication was sorta implied when I said affection and attention. Attention such as bieng there, talking, feeling and responding. Affection as in responding to their needs, coping and understanding, comforting in a time of need. Things such as that are what I meant and was trying to keep between the lines.

Think it adds some kinda puzzle or dramatic leave at the end of my post. If people are willing to think and ponder over what I said anyways.

I believe that, but I am really getting bothered about passion and good sex. Were they suppose to be one in the same as in the first post..or are they two different things like i say?
