I don't usually play online that much, so this doesn't affect me that much. I have been trying to give Mortal Kombat online a try though. I'm really glad Sony is going to give us free games for this though. Gotta love free stuff.
Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope that none of our personal information was leaked due to said hackers. I've been getting several emails saying that user info (of a personal nature) could potentially be at risk. Oh! That reminds me: I have to check out my PSN account(s)!

Okay it is almost official for Sony to make a greater move, what i am saying is that Sony will be up and running of everything by the end of the month so the only area is is almost fixed is the gaming online and playstation home thhough the playstation store and playstation plus store its still not up because of frequent slow down on the password resets which is a whole amount of people requesting their forgotten password. For me i think i had my share on whats been going on lately and this source where i got this from was playstation blog news update daily so no worries people the only thing you gotta take action is a password change when you try to log in and then after the end of the month you will receive two free games at no charge and will keep it forever as a compensation for being patient with the downtime for the past three weeks.
And now the only thing i am waiting for if they will allow cross chatting i really dont know that much about it because never knew that it could happen but i am not sure about the details that Sony will give out when that happens if i were to know that much. Anyways hope this information helped you guys out because all i know about the security update is that they enhanced the security system, have a mandatory update on your Playstation 3 to version 3.61, and the last thing is they added additional firewalls on the network hope it makes you really secure this time well time for me to wrap this up well have a fair day then.

The NGP refers to Sony's next iteration of the PSP. I've always thought of it as being short for "Next Gen Portable", but it's of course just a speculative name as of now. Anyway, the NGP has nothing to do with the current situation, as it isn't even available right now. In the future; Deadly Angel, please do provide a more clear point if possible.
Thanks. I was super confused! LOL. I've heard about the new handheld by Sony but, it's also known as PSP2. We don't even get to see it until E3 next month, so who knows what it's gonna be called or what it looks like.

I've already got my password changed, my PSP updated, and I am watching the Playstation Network like a hawk ready to swoop in on an unsuspecting mouse.
Infamous and LBP for free? Well that's pretty awesome. I'm also interested in the 100 free PS Home items. This is all pretty great considering I wasn't at all bothered by the network outage lol. I don;t have any games to play right now.
