I agree with Billum. Popularity means nothing. If you stay with your friends then there is nothing to worry about. Be who you are and don’t be afraid that others won’t like you. Your true friends will and that is all that counts. The majority of time, popularity only gains you false friends. The ones you had in the beginning are the real ones and they may leave you if you are focused on popularity. Popularity is something that really isn’t important but thanks to the pressure of society people believe it is. As long as you believe in who you are then it shouldn’t matter what other people think.

well i was one of the populars during my highschool days. but i never consider myself to be one, it's the people that i'm with who's calling me but i humbly deny it. i don't hangout with the same group of people all of the time i usually hangout with anyone randomly.

I think that you shouldtry to be yourself because what you do in High school is going to reflect in what you do for the rest of your life. Who you hang out with and how you act with them is going to be how people see you.

But im one of the people who will just talk to random
people because i dont care if people are popular or
not it doesnt matter people who thinks it does are just

Maybe I'm not the right person to be throwing in their two-cents here. For me, high school was a long time ago.

However, in my experience, I grew to pity many of the so-called popular crowd of my day. Once high school was said and done, they tended to be the ones that had a harder time adjusting to the "real world". They found out, more often than not the hard way, that in the real world their high school popularity meant absolutely zip.

From my generation, the ones that became the biggest success stories were the average, non-popular kids who stayed original. They knew who they were, what they wanted and made it happen. They figured out then what holds true even today: The four years you spend in high school is really just a brief moment in the overall grand scheme of your life.

I came to Mananga College in Swaziland and it's not bad there's no groups really just cool people and so I say you should be afraid about which type of school you go to not the people you.

i am popular in school .... and i don't like that ... when i see girl say hi to me at that moment i say to my self what was her name ... and this is not a good thing i have a lot of friends in school now and the best friends just 6 girls .... friendship all i want (real friendship) .... =^_^=

at the starters of high school i wasn't that much but at last year i was blasted! lol ... i became very friendly (and so they did) with everyone and thus i was quite known among may year's students ,before and after ... all ended now! T.T but such wonderful days they were ...

I was still myself and had enough friends and was active enough with exra curricular activities and quite popular, I don't think you'd have to kiss ass just get known.why would i want to be part of something i think i am not comfortable with. at least no one can blame me for copying someone's style and presonality and not being myself.

I would say to be liked if you have no friends is comedy thats the big way for people to like you because thats how i was big in school and thats why my friends like me today they like me for other reasons but they like that im funny.
