I think it is hard to be friends with a guy because you get to know them and they get to know you and you guys start to like each other and then it gets awkward.....but then at times you make friends with a guy who is just the type of guy you wouldn't wan to date. But there are so many scenarios to this situation I dont even know where to began....the idea is guys and girls together as friends is very hard to do.

this feels like a deja vu discussion oh well yes it is possible for guys and girls to be simply best friends. some of the ost interesting discussions and enlightening conversations i had stemmed form this kind of relationship. plus i learned guys can give you insight on a lot of stuff girls are always asking

i don't think its a problem when girls making friend with guys... i've gone through the same problem too but now i prefer to friend with everyone but not that close.. sounds like i prefer to be alone.. haha... most of my girl friends, they are so pinky, girlish, like to shopping, make up, you know.. those are really 'girls' and so they're not my type. when every time i hang out with them, they will sure tell me to wear like this, wear like that, use this lipstick, use that eyeliner.. euch.. i just don't like those stuff.... not say that i'm a tom boy but i just don't put up those silly stuff.. haha... i like to play computer games, hang out for bowling, pool and watch tv, football.... so i join the guys...
some people tot i join the guys to have their attention this and that.... so now i would only join them when theres girls hang out together...
theres lots of stuff we chat about. it depends on that person. if he or she thinks widely, theres not a problem for girsl and boys are best friends....

Ummm... I have more female friends then I do Male friends. It's entirely possible to be friends with the opposite sex, even if they find them attractive or not.

Its your own damn fault if you mess it up by taking things too fast and rushing into a relationship that neither of you are ready for (or actually want in the long run).

well it is possible.there's nothing wrong with having frends with the opposite sex.well my besfrend is a girl and its kinda cool.but sometimes your relationshipbecomes more than besfrends and you cant help that.

yes it is possible.

if it escalates to anything beyond friendship, but you dont want that, consider the person a brother or sister. tha way it would be a bit weird if you liked them like a lover.

at least this is my strategy.

yes, ive had a friend that's a girl for years. we can talk to each other about relationships, and not even get jealous. we even ask each other advice. yeah, it's possible

yes it is. i have several good friends that i wouldn't date. mainly cause i have a bf but also casue i dont ahve any attraction toward them. they are just good friends.

I think that is a good plan..but what if that doesn't work what will ya do then..??? But every guy that I was friends with I ended up liking them more than just friends....because I see the real them and I begin to feel feelings for them I can't help it is only natural for me though.

well i mean i have female friends who i am attracted to in that way, and i know nothing will come of it, so i just quell those feelings. it depends on you, the other person, and your ability to control your emotions.
