It's just stupid to put thousands of troops at the border. About 1,000 or 2,000 would be good but more than that would be reidcuolis!

Putting so many troops on the border is dumb. As if troops don't have enough crappy places to work...

But seriously it's a waste of manpower. I think that it is up to him if he wants to put more people on the border. If you want extra man power then train them. Pay more in order to hire more. Don't take troops to guard the borders when it's really not their job. The US millitary has one job, to train for war. We are at war so we should save our manpower for it. I don't believe that terrorists are just flowing out of Mexico.

I work a job that an illegal immegrant could only dream about getting. I'm against big corporations (walmart ha) hiring illegal immegrants because THEY are the ones that don't want to hire people who are citizens. These companies cut back on legal work so they can make a much bigger profit.

I believe his plan is far-fetched and cannot be done, to me it seems as though we are only thinking about how to protect ourselves. Doesn't it seem more fitting that if we HELP Mexico become a prosperous country then maybe people wouldn't have to immigrate illegally here. It seems like we should try to help those countries where they are comming from in order to help that country grow, that way, the people won't have a very good reason to immigrate, has anyone ANYONE, done studies to figure out WHY people immigrate, it seems we as a government don't take facts and just debate and pass policy without information.

why even bother trying to keep them out when the the one's

already here are breaking our laws and helping them out. it's

a pointless debate over something so simple show a green card or go home

no questions's asked .so what if they have family that have a green card . its no

one's fault but there own for not having one.
