I am a Christian, and I believe that God sent his one and only son, Jesus, who died in place of us, for our sins, so that he could take the punishment that we deserved.

I'm catholic, and we believe the same thing. God sent jesus to Earth in human form to die for us. To save us of our sins. And yet, look at how we are today. Still sinning. But we will learn sooner or later...

I do believe that there is a God, and that Jesus is his son. That's what I believe on religion. There may be other Gods out there, and other heavens for those Gods. But I truly believe in the trinity. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

Ah, the thinnest of ice to traverse, peoples religion. Myself I am what you could only call a christian because i believe in the Lord Yahweh, and that his son Jesus christ died for our sins. However I also believe that organizing a religious belief system around this is totally wrong and it just creates a way for people to be kept ignorant and controlable. Nothing is worst than having some holier than thou fool in a robe telling you that the way you live your life is wrong and that you should live it according to the guidelines set forth in a book written over a millenia ago. NONSENSE. The bible is a good book dont get me wrong. However, it should be used as a way to understand the way other people have believed and possibly show you something about belief, but not something you should follow verbatim. God gave us freedom of choice for a reason and i believe that also encompasses how we should show our faith. I do this by just leading a good life and not doing anything that i deem morally wrong. In the end it really all comes down to whether you have him in your heart and led a good life.
