ok. Most threads i see here in the debate and discuss are mostly relating to most religion ideas. but some mmbers beileve other than what there religion says. To me is it wrong to believe what you think, but not go against your religion?

Could you clarify or give an example? Most religions are pretty inclusive and cover most of the potential belief structure…or are you referring to what items within our religion that we do NOT follow or believe?
what im saying is say your christian and god says being gay is a sin and you automaticly go to hell, but yet you think being gay is fine, even though it goes against nature, it's fine and the person who is gay is stil a human being and not a social reject. is it ok to defy your religion but yet not go against it?

everybody has a diff. opinion. i dont think there is someone out there that TOTALY belives what there paster teaches. honestly, i perfer to teach myself out of the bible because i knoe that the bible DOES NOT lie.
This debate is pointless, considering that a religion is a belief system.

religion for most is a way to cope with life more like a meaning to live others its was somthing they were born to, noone knows what religion is the right there is no proof there are no facts just what we read, I used to be christian but my parents coulden't keep me peged for long its what you beileve is what maters. I know and work with people that are gay and they are nice not rude in any way. If your so woried about the after life than thats fine if the path that takes me to hell than so be it.
