If maybe u ask proper questions it would be answered.
Why would u worry if Satan was a mistake, do u think that God make mistakes, then if so why don't u ask Him get to know him first and concentrate on His teachings read the bible maybe u will get a better idea of the answer to a question like that.
If u get a answer to your question wil it change the way u think about God or not ,if not then why ask questions.

God made Lucifer knowing that he would become the fallen angel. It is true that God aka Jehovah works in mysterious ways. My guess is that he knew that there would be some evil in the world even though he could stop it. We all know that without good there isnt any evil, so there have to be some evil in the world so that good could continue to live. So if you commit an evil act you could either repent or follow satan to hell.
