sex ed in high school?

showing porn probably wasn't the best thing to do. But I think it is good idea to have sex ed classes in school. Most teenages find it hard and awkard to talk to parents about it, it's much more comfortable learning about it from a teacher or a doctor.

I don't know why parent would have an issue sex ed in schools. Guarrenteed most people know waay more then their parents would realise. If they don't learn it from a teachers or parents, they will learn it from a friend or by watching TV or movies.

i was amased but i did learn some things in the class. yup i was disturbed but couldnt look away.

It needs to be taught in schools and if porn is the only way then let it be.Its better then having a bunch of maladjusted kids who dont know why they think the girls are pretty or why they think the boys are handsome.

And most teens see porn anyway at some stage so seeing it in a controled enviroment is better then seeing it at a friends house imo

sex-ed was a class that....well taught me that sex can wait and stop rushing into adult hood

Teaching about sex is okay in general, but porn is like, crazy. a little over the top.

the parents should teach kids about that kinda stuff. your teacher is just perverted to show you porn in your classroom. you should push to get him at least fired

Yeah i agree it probably wasnt a good idea for him to show porn to teach about sex. There are better ways to teach about sex. Like mentioned in this thread. I think its better for sex education to be taught in schools. Parents just dont do it right. They're too uncomfortable and don't teach it right or at all. They dont like to think of their kid haveing sex, so they never really discuss the issue like it should. Which is some of the reason they got pissed off when they found out their kids were watching porn. Oh noes my little johnny saw porn, he dont like that stuff. lol
