Man, I clearly remember a video I watched in elementary school where a women is giving birth to a baby. I know giving birth to a baby was a slow and painful process but holy shit that video, the women was struggling at first then its like she spited out that baby like diarrhea, gross =/.

Well, anyways, I think we should leave it to the educators cause they actually know the biology behind sex. At my elementary school (don't know about others in Canada), students were allowed to leave the lecture with permission of their parents.

Sex Ed is mantedory course for elementary and in my first and second year for high school here. I remember we were taught how to put on a condom at HS, rofl. funniest thing because it was done in the gym where Sex Ed is part of the Phy. Ed course. My teacher were always on the look out for people coming to the gym. lmao back in my elementary school days one of my friend blew in to a condom and try to hit people with it, lol

See, its a fun course to take and its not just about the guyxgirl thing, no. Its more then that.

Sex ed should be taught and yes the parents are right to, but if you want to teach sex ed come on now don't put on porn thinking that it's going to teach you how to have sex. anyways I think that the coach's wanted to watch porn that's why lol

I had sex ed in 6th grade. We filled out forms and things first though.

I think the teacher should have sent out forms describing in detail what she would be exposing to the class.

In highschool i think kids should be preparing for the real world. And sex ed during that time would be a better idea than having it earliar. Because kids should be more responsible by then.

Kids should be over cooties by then. And the parents should appreciate that they wont have to "give the talk" "about the birds and the bees". Its really uncomfortable for both the parent and the child.

Sex ed is a good idea.

Yeah....I think your teacher was in the wrong showing porn in sex ed, considering that you have to be 18 to legally rent porn. Sure, it shows two people having sex, but that's it. Pornography is not a teaching method. Sex ed shouldn't be about how to have sex, but how to have SAFE sex. Seeing some guy bang a chick isn't showing you anything.....

I can understand if they showed you a video that was about the human body and it had nudity in it. I do think that society needs to be more open about sex in general, and if you look at countries that are more liberal to sex, the amount of people who have safe sex is much higher than countries that are more conservative.

Showing porn in sex ed would be about the same as bringing some hobo into the classroom and then shooting him to explain what happens when someone dies. You don't actually learn anything from it, you'd just see some guy get shot.
