Arrow sexism?

i watched all the debates between hillary and obama.
both of which i believe uncapable but nonetheless..

you know honestly its kind of sexist but i dont think a woman should be president of the US, or any country for that matter. it may be old fashion but i think she would let all the "woman worries" come into play. girl are more apt to care about the starving children in africa fund, and the save the animals stuff, and i just dont think thats what our country needs to be focusing on.

anyone agree or disagree?

Re: sexism?

Yea, I can somewhat see where your coming from, not to say im sexist either, because just b4 i read that, i thought hiliary would have made a fine prez. But u got a point, she might do the unessacry things that our country doesnt need, and maybe other conutries may think they can take advantage of that

Re: sexism?

I understand what your saying! Woman aren't all created equal though. No one is created equal! Not every woman cares for the needy or the starving. Just like not every guy likes a woman. Some like other guys. Not ever woman cares for kids and rights. Some care for sex and drugs. Trust me I talk to everyone I can. I love strangers! I give strangers great big hugs and have compelling conversations with strangers! I've seen alot of different people with many many different views on everything. One day there will be a woman president and she will do her best, but no matter what ever president gets clowned for their mistakes that they or you could have never foreseen.

P>S>
I personally will not vote for Hilary because I just don't like her lol Even though that is a very stupid view and opinion, but thats my views and my opinions!......and thats how Bush got elected into office TWICE! lmao j/k

Re: sexism?

Wow....with just that one statement you just knocked the female back more than a century. We are capable of doing more than just nurturing. I think that a female can run a country. I've seen plenty of females run a tight fist on a house hold with five childern, work and help out with money matters along side the husban. We bring things to the table that are different, like how we may look at something is quite different then how a male may look at it. Though, Hilary wouldn't be my choice, if the right female was running for office I would vote for her.

Re: sexism?

Sexist? no I am not, I am grateful for all that women have accomplished over the centuries.
first off, if Hilary Clinton wishes to be the president of America, hey all the more power to her.
I have been watching some of the debates that she has had and think she would be an excellent prez.

here in Africa we have women as presidents already, and I can say that women care about the world more then men do. (Simple fact)
even the male presidents care more about themselves then their people.
look at Zimbabwe.

Nah, no harm done in recognizing our flaws. When women aren't being defensive on the subject we readily admit the negative side to female nature to each other after all BUT not every woman is always like that if ever. You just have to take each person as an individual and make a decision based on that.

I agree. I don't care what a man says or what even a woman says about a woman shouldn't be president or whatever. What the hell do they know? Absolutely nothing? If you don't think that a woman shouldn't be president, what proof do you have? I have said this before in another thread: If England France Pakistan can have woman leaders why can't we? I'm so sick and tired of woman selling themselves short. Would you rather have it like it was in the 50's where women were oppressed and had no freedoms? Well do you? Would rather work over a hot stove and have to ask the "man of the house" for everything? Having them have say what you do with your own body? Well would you?

I don't know about you but I don't. I think women are far more capable than men at ruling a nation because we are nurturers. Being a nurturer isn't a bad thing really. With women we can actually negotiate with other countries and come to peaceful terms. Unlike with what Bush is doing. Woman aren't likely to ask Congress (let alone start themselves) to start a war. So really being a nurturer isn't a flaw. It's something that you can shape into your greatest strength. Not keep it as a weakness.

Re: sexism?

I’m sorry but how does your gender decide your leadership qualities? What makes a leader a good leader is an open mind, dealing with stress in a good manner, and be able to make sound decisions under said stress. I have seen these traits in both men and women. To say that women are not fit for a leadership position which is basically what is being said is insulting and degrading to women everywhere. There have been many women who have taken these sort of positions and have done wonderful jobs. (Just look up Elizabeth I)

I will admit that there are a lot of women not fit for a job such as president but so are a lot of men. I’m sorry but to say that no woman can lead a country is very close minded to me.

Re: sexism?

I can see your point, but...kiinda generalizing all woman. Not all are like that, yes Hilary seems to be one, not only that I don't view her toooo bright. I say if we do have a female President, let's get someone smarter than Hilary.
