It should be discussed because the questions reflect upon personal opinion of major things in society that people aren't aware of.The topic of girls in society is a topic worth mentioning because there are people who potray them as 'sex toys' and not who they really are and the teacher probably wants you to know that fact.It does not matter where this is asked as long as it is relevant to what you are learning.

Is this a high school class or collage cause if high school then why is everyone who's replying and in collage say its alright. of course its alright for you cause you take classes like that. I mean in high school teachers are supposed to teach only what he/she is told to teach and really nothing more. But in collage the professor can teach what ever they well damn please or at least i think so... but anyway if i were in that class id go strait to the superintendent and explain whats going on cause the questions aren't really all that fair for guys. She sounds like one of those teachers who go around class acting like they have a flag pole up there ass.

and another thing if its something people should know then then they'd know if they dont then it means they can care less to find out or it doesn't affect them to care enough

Do to others as you see fit

^ Well when I was in High School - that is what we talked about. And in English aswell. I think those questions are fair to guys. Why aren't they? Isn't the way women are being treated an important topic? I mean it wasn't until last century when most women were able to vote. Even now there is still some un-eveness in some areas in society.

I think the treatment of women is a great topic to talk about in class, especially in High School, when there is alot of pressure on young teenage girls ( and guys).

And in Uni/college. The lecturer has to teach us a certain thing lol, or else we'll get out of Uni not knowing our career to well lol.

I am in college myself, but I personally responded that this subject is usually covered in HS. They don't have to go by what other people say for them to teach. Where have you been living man? Those are some incompentent people if they really go by that kind of teaching. Not saying I havn't come across plenty of those people in the past though.

In college you can't teach whatever you damn well please..you have to stay on subject and still refrain from making sexist remarks like any other. You are still dealing with people and the rules still apply. It probably just seems more lenient because the students are suppose to be at an age where they can comprehend such matters.

Sorry I lost what your last paragraph stated.

But seriously, if we only form an opinion based on these questions, it is obvious what the majority of us would think.

Where are you Mattness? I want to get more information about what is going on.

Wow, I never saw this topic here before. <_<

A feminist teacher? I think all feminist teachers should be fired. I have seen too many people who've had feminist teachers!!!
    >_< Makes me want to say unlawful things. ( not like I won't say them anyways)

... psh, even pro-male teachers are less harmful than those feminist teachers. Why don't they just teach at an all-girl school? They are horrible creatures.

    Anywho...

Should that be asked in class?
Erm... if you don't consider the teacher, I'd say: Sure why not. Ask whatever you want from your students, no matter what the subject, as long as they pass the SATs and end up in college.

    Considering the teacher?

Excuse me?! Never mix personal life with the classroom! That's not only selfish, but you might as well allow Christianity in every school if you're going to allow someone's opinion be forced down people's ears that way!
