I believe the Christians(If anyone isn't Christian/religious and is against it I would like to hear your view) see it as if they were giving a child to immoral people who choose a life of sin, which is complete crap.

Also he thing about gay couples caring better is also crap. Being gay does not automatically give you amazing super human abilities...

They should be allowed, and to be honest does anyone(Again other then religious people) really give a damn if the kid turns out gay?

Well I think. If you guys or gals can't make babies together, why would you want to take one in? Either way I have no problem with it, and the odds of the child becoming gay have to be rare, but for a child. He or She may kiss the same sex thinking its okay in a youthful age. When its not right. At least not at that age I don't think.

If the two people aren't trying to make the young child gay, then I see nothing wrong with it, but it may confuse the child.

So if its a Man and a Man they should Adopt a Girl, and if its a Girl and Girl. they should adopt a Boy. End of story there. Just to keep the child Sane at the end of the day.

Who said anything about a 'gay gene'? I posted that scientific reasearch found a link between homosexuality and the conditions the child was exposed to when it was developing in it's mother. This has nothing to do with the genetics of the child.

And in terms of the bible, a wise man once said "God does not lie, likewise nature does not lie. Any discrepencies found between the two are due to our own misinterpretations of God's word."

well that's the ups and downs of free will...anyway i do feel sorry for the child if he or she has two dads or two moms.

Well, yeah, assuming there might be some indivisuals out there who might be "Where is your mom? You don't have any!" Like that.
But hey, the children with homosexual parents have a double bonus on Father's/Mother's day

My only concern is the the duration of the marriages.

Homosexuals marrying each other is the exact same thing as heterosexuals marrying each other. Depending on the couple is what would really influence the length of the marriage. Not the couple's sexual orientation.

Yes and in an article I read there were many couples who cheated on each other and were seperated also because of the pressure from the society / parents.

i guarantee there are more straight marriage break-ups that gay ones. in other words, its not a factor.

Good parents are good parents, whatever their orientation may be. The love for their child wouldn't be swayed by the fact that they love fanny packs or whatever. Quite frankly, too many children are being thrown away by hetro sexual couples (abortion, abandoning and what have you) that i think they have a right to raise children too.

i'm a Christian, and we ALL live in sin. No one's is any more evil than the other, so from that view, as long as they have a stable home and a genuine love to the child, let them adopt!
