This is my opinion!


I think that homosexuals SHOULD have the oppurtunity to adopt because they don't have the chance to.... ummm they kinda can't make kids... duh....


so I believe that they shouldn't be turned down at the adoption agency.... I think people are just scared of that kid that they are adopting will turn out to be homosexual too... and it's stupid.....

i think that homosexual couples have every right that a heterosexual couple has...they're a couple and they obviously love each other...if the couiple is found "fit" to adopt a child then i thinkthey should be able to have the child...i mean it comes down to this, if you dont adopt or use a seragant mother...how will they build a family???

they/we have as much right as anyone to adopt. i personally would never want to adopt, but why deny someone a family just because its 2 women or 2 men who are doing the adopting?

The child will obviously have only one main parent as the role model, which would have just as much affect on the child (either having one dad, or one mom..so male role model, or female role model). Also, at that point the economic factors of being a single parent come in to play which also affects the child, depending on the economic scale of the parent.

Yeah, that's true.....The education training is only really meant to make the environment more neutral...it's not trying to explain the full differences between a straight couple and a gay couple, but just make it seem kind of like an average thing...Divine's post is the perfect example of how it's trying to be taught...

I think that homosexuals should be able to adopt. I have seen shows on TV where they show the lives of children with same sex parents and they don't appear to be that negatively affected by it. I realize that there are experiences that a child can only have with a father or mother and always wondering what it would be like to have a father or mother could be a bit trying on a kid. The world can be a very unforgiving place and one wrong word from a person that has a problem with the idea of same sex parents could potentially emotionally harm a young person. But overall I think that there is no problem with it what so ever.

but there human beings just like us. they know how to love and they also have feelings. just because they are gay dosent mean the kids have to be one. he/she will love them just like any other mom or dad they just have two, and i have seen kids who have growen up with two mom or two dads and they came out just fine and they wernt gay, they were as stright as any one can be

Certainly they should be allowed to adopt, if they are in a committed, stable, heterosexual relationship. Multiple studies have shown that children NEED both a mother and father. Children up for adoption even more so since they already have one strike against them for being well adjusted. Why make it even harder in one of societies new experiments.

Well it's not that im scared that the children would turn gay 2... but think again... if someday they think back.. they look at other childrens they all have father and mother... and he even would have problem to choose which is mom which is dad,.... xD

and maybe someday he would think how come my parents are with the same gender... @.@ and to some they would look to their own religion.. hey.. my parent overstepped the religious way.. so.. that means i can too... :/

though this might be a good way on reducing the poor homeless or orphan children... but the children have rights to live in a "Normal" family.. u know

It doesn't matter about the parents, what matters is the children. All children need homes and loving parents. If being homosexual keeps a child from having a good home then its wrong. Only if they aren't qualifiedshould they be denied of a needy child.

A good home.. thats essential...i agree.. well can they give love and care as good as normal family could? i doubt that they could...
