Hello all,

I have a question and I want everyone's honest opinions on this topic. Why is that people stereotype one another? Is because that the way they were raise, it because of one negative view of a person that causes you to look at people that way? I'm just curious because in my life time I have seen a lot of stereotyping and I just want to hear other peoples opinions about the matter!

for me it was the frinds i had growing up there were jokes ,rumor's , ect.
that had me thinking maybe they really are like that for the longest time untill i
got out of school my friend's and me passed along a few ethinic jokes wich i think is very wrong today but at the time i saw nothing wrong with i thought it was funny i mean what kid dosnt if they have never know met anyone from another ethnic background. but yea im gonna have to say it was friends i grew up with that gave me my impressions on others

to me i honestly think it's by the way most people act of that ethnic race/culture.
like in america, most people thinks blondes are dumb girls who dont know anything and open their legs up to anyone. (SOME OF MY BLONDE FRIENDS DO BUT SOME ARE VERY CONSERVATIVE) and the worst i think is the african american stereotype. they take a group of them and judge them on that particular gruop. i personally know how that feels.
i hate that. just because im a certain race doesnt mean im an iggnoarnt unmannered person.

Stereotypes are based on general facts, it doesn't apply to all but just some, like Chinese people can't drive, they are good at math, brown people drives taxi or work at the convience store.

A lot of times it is just a joke, but when some retards coming by and starts sh1t with stereotypes then we have a problem.

Aren't they good at playing Basketball? Whats so bad about that?

iwow. but im not being stereotypical im just saying, my friend nhi, her sister kiyinay(hope i spelled it right) drives UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I MEAN SHE CANT GO OVER 40 MPH!!!
THE FREAKING SPEED LIMIT IS 65.
AND DOWNTOWN WHE I LIVE, ALOT OF CHINESE DRIVERS DO THAT.

It's possible that people who drive under the speed limit are sccared to drive AT the speed limit becasue it's too fast-paced for them. But if so, they shouldn't even be on the road. I personally don't think that people who speed a lot should be on the road either including this dude...

i think steroe types are mostly based on fact from what peolpe see them selves or on the news like how black peolpe are so athletic

Thank you, took the words outa my mouth, the truth is most people here in the south were raised to beleive certain things, but people such as me were raised differently, and there for see no race when i see a person.
