    Re: Suicide: acceptable or not?

Suicide is, in my humble opinion, a coward's way out and for people that have no respect.
Now, coming from experience, I know it's not easy to give up your own life, which is why I'm living on because...
Many people would miss you, whether you want to believe it or not.
And you only have one life. Why end it when you're 16, 17, older? You've still got x amount of years to change your life. your fate.
When the time comes, death will happen. Just accept it when it's supposed to...

But becuase many see suicide as a problem,
i can see as to why people would
think of it as a life problem rather than
    a solution to lifes problems.

But honestly, it strongly depends on the
individuals scenario and all the small details,
some of which no one will ever know, except for
the one who chooses their demise.

    We think were so advanced,
yet we still know nothing about the human mind.
We have statistics of the human mind en masse,
    but we lack facts.

We make up what we dont know with
    drugs.

And even sometimes we end up making things worse
    rather than help out.

Seriously, what can you really do
to help someone who is suicidal?

You can only encourage them to seek help,
in actuality all your doin is sending them to someone else
when they came to you, and that someone else is goin to send them
to someone else or likely an emergency room, or call some emergency services
which result in an unpleasant stay, an evaluation, and very likely in the end drugs,
misunderstanding, major life changes, but yet no solution.

    Just treatment, but no cure.

So if you think suicide doesnt solve lifes problems,
well neither do those whose entire careers are to
    solve peoples lifes problems.

It really isnt as easy as many of you think.

Therein lies a problem in life itself.

Solve one problem, 2 may even take its place.

That brings me to another point,
after a certain point in your life (may vary)
    you cant avoid things.

Things get real, times get hard, and to get through
them, you yourself have to keep it real.

Suicide is one of those very real things people deal with life everyday,
just like world hunger, the economy, living from paycheck to paycheck,
wondering if youl have a place to sleep tonight, or if you get shot on
your way to buy milk and cereal for the kids.

Some things we dont like thinking about, but nonetheless
at some point you must accept them.

Suicide is one of those things.

If your young enough to not have to face
the real world, and your not independent,
then i suggest you live it up.

Becuase asking the world not to talk about its problems,
is just about the biggest problem.

hmm, im sorry if i came off as insensitive,
i must admit i cant relate to you,
everyone thats ever died in my life,
i just havent been very close to.

Honestly, alot of people in my life could die,
    and i would accept it.

But i guess there is only one exception to
    that.

That would be my best freind,
    if anything happened to her,
i would just have to die.

    I honestly dont think life
would be living without her in it.

    Dont get me wrong, our
    freindship is just that,
a freindship, not like that romance
    crap you hear in music.

I guess i just think life is pretty uninteresting.
If i hadnt met her, i would not be here
chatting about how i would not be here.

I was just lucky i found someone to live for.

Problem is im screwed if our lives part,
becuase i have no doubt my path will
meet its end when it does.

    And im being vary real.

    Sometimes its just pure philosopy.

    Thanks,
but i just know that wont be enough.
Keeping in touch just isnt the same.
As much as remembering "that time when..."
sounds fun, id rather make new times
not to have time to remember with her you know?

Sorry, im sure that may take a couple of re-reads
to get what i was saying...

But its just things like that, that just make
suicide not so bad for me.

Life is worth it when i have someone i care
to live it with, which is my freind.

Its why many get married, but in my case,
i very much doubt wed get married lol.
I wish freinds could have marriage,
but i guess its not our turn till the LGBT's
    have their way ; )

But coming out of the closet,
    i myself am suicidal,
just not while im living for her.

Everything ive talked about, is thru my personal experiences.

What gets me is i dont know why im suicidal,
it might just be my choice, but its also possible im depressed,
im a very philosophical and analytical and hopefully realistic person though.

    So whats my diagnosis?

Some say it major depressive disorder,
some say hes just a teen,
somesay its the music (that i dont listen to, seriously people are stereotypical),
some say im very intelligent, thought full, some say i have way too much time.
but how do they know any better than i do?

Just becuase i screened positive for majopr depressive disorder?

Seriously, how many teens wouldnt be diagnosed
with depression the way those evaluations are made out?

They might as well have one question:

"1) Have you ever felt sad?
    a)Yes
    b)No

If you answered A, you may have depression."

Seriously, these "evaluations" really arent thought out,
and are just like that, a series of very not so well thought out
questions, some of them forcing the evaluee to answer
a question with only the given answers; meaning the evaluation
is tailored to be universal, biased, and fixed.
Sorry, but as much as some people like to think,
not everyones minds are so universal.

    Evaluations?
    Just not very effective.
