Is the U.S banning anime?

i was looking around a website and i happen to see a lot of threads saying the US is banning anime. is this true? and if it is we haft to take action!!!

The whole petition saying that the American government is going to ban anime is a complete joke and was just invented to make poor fanboys and fangirls panic and cry. Every single person that signed that petition or has made a thread about that petition is guilty of being gullible and stupid. (You are not included, Asian_teen. I'm sure you just didn't know any better.)

FACT: An average of three to four threads about the supposed ban pops up in Gaia's Anime/Manga/Comic forum each day.

with out anime the US t.v would lose a chunk of it cash, and the USA cares about cash

boy is my face red i flamed everyoen on the patition i signed there. i guess i shoukld have figured as much with how anime is doing so well it was a joke

the government can't ban anime, it's illegal (not that thats stoped them before)
