    To me thats sickening. and its not about just watching how much you weigh it is also about eating right like my dad he was the most fitest when he was 200 pounds. I dont know how much that would be in stones im thinking arounf 15 maybr higher or lower. i cant remeber.
    alot of it is eating baddly and eating all the fast food.
    and it is actually good once in a while to eat fast food cause you do need fats in your diet but alot poeple they eat it all the time.
    and they keep getting fatter and fatter and dont get me wrong im not trying to be mean but its true.
    and i know some poeple who hate being that way but they still eat and eat and i really cant see myself being over 170. but thats just me,

    I agree people eat more then they need to. But also I agree they don't have to be crazy about it. 2 kudos

    I would probably do that but only because I don't really gain that much weight. I have a very fast metabolism that lets me stay skinny and that my stomach's a bottomless pit. So while I may weigh around 125 I look as if I still weighed 115.

    Now I heard something that obesity is the cause of diabetes in kids. However it depends on what type. Type 1 is juvenille diabetes and you don't need to be overweight to get and it is genetic (although the disease itself skips a couple generations, the symptoms are still carried on..I think.) Whereas according to WebMD kids who are obese are starting to get Type 2 which is odd. So really I think obese people should lose the pounds and force their kids to do the same unless they want to die young.

    I can explain that because we had a lovely (yes I just aid lovely if you have aproblem with that... just don't) discussion about how the pancreas regulates insulin inthe body. However insdtead of giving you all of the university level terminology and junk I'll try and keep this simple. Because this is a topic that interested me for a while (both of my grandparents on both sided died from diabetes.)

    Anyways onto your clarification. Obeesity is not the only cause of type two diabetes in children (it just really really makes things go faster) If you think about why obeese people become obeese it's because of overeating (particularly foods high in complex sugars) their slower metabolism (or in some cases regular) can't keep up with breaking down all those sugars. As a result their body stores it as fat and increses insulin production, an enzyme that breaks down sugars (or what is in the needle for people who do have diabetes) This is a bad chain of events because the person will now be hungrier more often because insulin levels trigger hunger so the person eats more and more. This leads to diabetes because people are only born with a certain capacity to produce insulin and eventually run out.

    If this makes any sense at all what I'm trying to say is that diabetes doesn't affect obeese people just because they're severely overweight. Rather obesity is a good indicator of diabetes. This being said people with high metabolisms are at just as high of a risk (maybe more because they can't tell) so this is a general rule of thumb for everyone. Replace fatty high carb and sugar foods with smaller portions of food that are high in nutrients, including protiens and vitamins. (I know it doesn't seem like alot of food but believe me it will fill you up.) This make you fuller (and happier), live longer (not proven yet), and also help you to avoid diabetes and obeseit for as long as possible.
