Just a question out of curiosity because there are many theories of what happens to you after you die and I would like others opinion on the matter.

What do you think happens to you after you die?

Do you spend eternity in a box? Do you go to heaven or hell? That or are you re-incarnated? And why?

when you die your still alive but no one can see you becuase your
soul never dies thats just what i belive , right now as your reading
this somoen who has died is standing or sitting right beside you watching you
becuase the spoul keep going when the body give up on life

Honestly I believe in re-incarnation. I think after you die you come back as something I mean as a living thing and not a paper weight lol. I'm old fashioned and I believe that when one person dies another is born!

Seriously though, I'd love to believe that there is an afterlife. That there's some order to the universe, some purpose. That, when our times up, we're still going to exist in some form or another, and the person I am today will continue to grow.

Regretfully, I don't.

I could lie to myself all I want, but I feel that once this life's up, that's it. Game over man. All I am and had experienced, self awareness and memories, are just going to be gone - I'll cease to be. Basically, I'm worm food.

I very much envy those of you with faith, and the peace of mind it must bring.

Mine view is simple.

We are nothing but balls of energy, once dead that "spark" leaves, either does one of two tings, joins the engery flowing throughout...everywhere basically OR goes out on it's own (My way of sayiing ghosts).

I think you go to where you are meant to be though your choice in life heaven or hell either one bad people go to hell and good people go to heaven that is how it goes I think at least maybe it is easier then that or maybe not I think there is a god though and if there is not please tell me what happen before the big bang to make evolution real or a fact.

By reading most of ur posts on this thread I see we dont have many religious people, but i am a little different on the subject.

What happens after we die? This is a question that I am sure almost everyone has wondered about at one time or another. Today there are many books on the subject. There are many stories of near death experiences. Many people have come close to death and have had visions of out of body experiences. Some have seen long dead relatives, or have come into a place of bright light and experienced peace. Some also have testified of going to a cold dark place full of torments and burning flames.

Now to be honest with you, I don't believe that everyone who tells of a near death experience is telling the truth, and I also believe that many may have been fooled by the devil----
"......for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (2Corinthians 11:14)

After all, the devil is a fallen angel--visions of angels could have angelic or demonic origins. This is why the Bible warns us not to worship angels----

"Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind," (Colosians 2:18)

However, I don't doubt that God has given many honest folks visions of heaven and hell, as well as actual experiences of what it is like to approach death. Some of these visions and experiences are personal and some are meant to be testified about to help others understand the reality of the afterlife.

But what should we rely on and trust? How about the words of Jesus in the Holy Bible! Jesus told us exactly what happens to us after we die.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:16-17).


But on the other hand the hopless believe that after you die there is nothing - no Heaven, no Nirvana, no Paradise and no Hell for that matter. They do not believe in God or human immortality. Death is final...for them of course

i think when we die , we get buried and like after 5 years we get dug up and burnt somewhere and we are just forgotten about!!

i really dont believe in heaven and hell! i just think its somethin people are using to make us fear doing bad!! but thats just my way of thinking!!
