What type of government do you like the most?

Monarchy - Rule by an individual who has inherited the role and expects to bequeath it to their heir.
Despotism - Rule by a single leader, all his or her subjects are considered his or her slaves.
Dictatorship - Rule by an individual who has full power over the country.
Oligarchy - Rule by a small group of people who share similar interests or family relations.
Plutocracy - A government composed of the wealthy class.
Democracy - Rule by a government where the people as a whole hold the power. It may be exercised by them (direct democracy), or through representatives chosen by them (representative democracy).
Theocracy - Rule by a religious elite.
Anarchy - A lack of government.

Which of these governments best suits you?
I would really like to know, explain why you like the government that you choose too please.
Democracy is obviously my choice, democracy is probably the best government to have in my opinion, since you do get to vote, and you have more freedoms than in the other 'government types'.

I would, like yourself, go towards democracy. That's the best there is, in theory. Freedom of expression exists and I guess that's what is actually needed to make a country run properly. The other choices would only imply imposing decisions on others, which is well, not very welcomed, even among the most submissive beings :P

Yeah that's true, almost all of the other governments on that list i put up...are kind of questionable, i don't think any wants ANYTHING but democracy.
Democracy get's the most freedom pretty much, in a way..you could probably say anarchy gives you freedom, but we won't go there.

Oh man...would i love to see a real Anarchy...I cannot imagine a world without a government.....I do not think that the earth would even survive two weeks without an anarchy...but still....it is an awesome idea.....
But definitely democracy is the best choice....and it has been the best since the dawn of time....people get an equal voice in politics and political issue....so definitely the best...
the worst would be dictatorship........I was born in a country that has enough if dictators (Russia)....and i would not want that for another country....

I think any goverment has it's down side.
I don't care US goverment because they beleave in insane things like UFOs and Area 51 B.S really.
but the best goverment branch I like is the FEMA and department of emergency services former known as Civil Defense like my grand father was in
I became Vounteer Emergency radiological monitor for the state of arizona and got my training from FEMA.

The UN wouldn't allow an anarchy to happen, Something would be set into motion to shut down an anarchy and re-set a democracy.

But yeah. The world wouldn't last otherwise.

Theoretical communism is actually the most ideal for human survival as a whole... but with people being as greedy as they are then I'd have to say that democracy is the best second choice.

Emergency services? I have never heard of that before, it's not really a government is it, is it just a group? I'll have to read up on that one.
